  1. You only need one core. . . Hardcore

    I’ll get my coat. . .

  2. I have i3 10100f. Should i upgrade to 11700. I dont want to invest again in motherboard and ram.
What is max gpu i can pair with 11700. Currently, i have 1650 super.

  3. i have a 14700K + 4080 super, its working great

  4. Rocking my 5600G with RX 6600 and for me it does a great job! 6 cores are enough for gaming, daily tasks, etc

  5. which monitor is that????

  6. Are you using AI for your thumbnails? Something uncanny about it.

  7. For your Hogwarts Legacy crashing issue, Disabling Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling should do the trick as its very common to be the cause of crashing in that game.

  8. my 5600x kicks ass, but i am looking forward to my next build and getting a 7800x3D

  9. My 5600x kicks ass

  10. Answer: more is better.

  11. I like the extra cores for my second monitor. Multitasking enters the chat

  12. Its an interesting video but I don't believe the test results would be the same using my 4070.
In the games I mostly play my GPU runs at 98% flat out. Improvements if any to a e.g. 16 core cpu could only be marginal and I believe that also applies for most other viewers. Who rocks a 4090..? Dont think you need to upgrade Folks

  13. using cores from two ccds has a latency penalty that wasn't accounted for in this video & isn't the best way to test this kind of thing imo. 4, 6, & 8 core tests should have all been on one ccd for more accurate results.

  14. Biased toward 1440P. My Lenovo with 8 core 13700 and 4080 is CPU capped with Spiderman @ 4k but runs smooth and toasty.

  15. The answer is 6

  16. Surely Delid a 7950x and run 5.8ghz all core vs the 7800X3D

  17. more and more emo nerds on yt ;-/

  18. 😻😻😻

  19. Brother i just realized that you dont usually test Warzone or Call of Duty game on your videos

  20. Now i see why ryzen chips are faster.

  21. hi can you tell me any reasons why my pc starts…the straight away shuts off with a yellow light?…any suggestions

  22. Hopefully we really are at the start of the era of game developers looking to use more and more cores. Should we realy in this day and age be thinking 4 cores is enough or 8 cores is ok? By now 4 cores should be noticably limiting 8 core the avaerage and 12 and 16 cores being used more and more espcially with games like flight sim and even possibly the Total war style stratergy games. I think even newer sim racing games should be optimised to use take advantage of more. Ores with 8 core being really the start point and 12 and 16 very highly desirable shooters 4 and 8 cores are good enough for a few more years but hey why not look to the future. I game and have a r9 5950x 16 core and 32 threads paired with a rx 6950xt but I am doing photo editing and slowly looking at doing more video editing.

  23. Analogies are dumb distracting and a waste of time.

  24. 6/12 still enough and i bet that zen5 r5 9600x with 6 cores and 12 threads will easilly beat 14900ks in gaming

  25. 🙂 i recommend 8core 16thread cpus

  26. Hello from the US. Hope you've been well, I've been lurking. but…..
How many cores needed for aftereffects? what about DaVinci Resolve 1080 or 1440p or 4k? Daddy needs to upgrade. On ryzen but would swap to Intel if it is "faster" per $/£.

  28. 2-3 really high performance cores as the vast majority of games are just single threaded. I dont even have a game that uses more than 25% of my Pcores 😅

  29. Тестировать процессоры в 1440? Этот парень – гений! Весь упор пошёл на gpu

  30. 6 cores 9 threads… final answer.

  31. You aint Linus lil bro 😭

  32. I d like to see a test of different gpus+ cpus combos, given a similar budget. For example I see all those AIO liquid coolers costing as much as the difference between a 70 class and a 80 class nvidia gpu. Lets say for example: would a liquid cooled 7800x3d + a 4070 gpu give you more frames than an older 3700x with a cheaper air cooler+ 4080? at 1440p. Would the result change at 4k? cose comparing core counts without considering what monitor resolution you got to feed does not tell the full picture. games are getting redicolously cpu intensive lately, sure but at high resolution? how much does it really matter?

  33. What do you use to have all of your statistics show up in game in that format and font? Looks awesome!

  34. Hey,I just recently installed my 7800xt onto a MSI b650 tomahawk

The computer boots properly and has no issues at all, but, when I was installing the GPU into the slot, before I screwed it to the case, it felt rather wobbly in the slot – as if it could pivot slightly up and down (I.e. up towards the CPU and down towards the bottom of the case).
When inserting it, I hear a click, on visual inspection the gpu fully seated i can't push it more, the clip appeared to be clicked into space.

It's making me slightly paranoid, so thought I'd ask:

    – is it normal for a GPU to be a bit wobbly even when fully inserted into the PCIe slot, before screws?

  35. For the tasks and loading

  36. So the more cores and more threads will make better perfomance right,

  37. I will NEVER use RT, it is the FPS killer.

  38. What is the FPS monitor you are using?

  39. Is 4 cores enough for rocket league, fortnite and CS:GO, like in low setting and stable fps and no lagging?

  40. Single-core CPUs are not recommended.

Dual-core CPUs are suitable for basic tasks, word processing, browsing, and light gaming.

Quad-core CPUs are suitable for acceptable gaming performance and responsive operation.

Six-core CPUs are the sweet spot for gaming; they are cheap and solid for productivity work.

Eight-core CPUs are amazing at all tasks. Great for productivity work and heavy gaming.

  41. Might want to add Dragon's Dogma 2 for CPU testing. That stupidly un-optimized game runs poorly even with a 4090 as the game is heavily CPU bound apparently.

  42. Good video, but would've like to see CyberPunk 2077 since its requiresments list a 7900x for RT. Still a well informative video.

  43. I know this isnt the exact point or focus for this video, but I liked that you happened to show the shader loading screen for Hogwarts Legacy, my daughters Intel platform PC sadly freezes on that screen and won't even load so she can play it.

  44. just bought a R9 7900 last thursday 🙂

  45. We need to see the doggo!

  46. You probably would have gotten a bit better performance out of focusing on a single ccd for 8 cores and below. Possibly that was related to lower than max cpu in some cases but some bottleneck.

  47. 50 million trillion 47

  48. Got a 5800X with a 7900XTX for 4K Warzone, runs it perfectly! Might swap to DDR5 next year and I’ll probably get a 9600 (Or X if there’s no non X).

  49. 6 just 6
