  1. And what new tech and new stuff coming out, there will always be new things to learn about. Always keep learning about new stuff. You will never know everything!

  2. Yes experience matters, including learning what doesn't work..

  3. Why is the audio so clicky and crackly on this video in particular? It sounds awful

  4. And more specifically, watch as much LTT content as possible . Because when it comes to the content over at LMG, they're always dropping the latest tech.

  9. i used this same thing back in 2014 to get my first cellphone sales job. Got the job by telling the district what was exactly in their phone without a sheet of paper.

  10. My family uses me as their in house tech support, and one day my cousin, who is like 15 years older than me asked me to help him with his pc. He considered himself to be a techie but couldnt figure out why his computer was crashing on boot, even after a freah HD with a fresh OS install.
I came over to take a look and he was like "do you mind if i watch?" Im like sure w.e as long as you help if i need it (i have huge hands so small screws in small cases are a weakness).
At the end we got it running it was a bad power supply, surging on the cpu 8pin.
At the end all he could say is "you seem to use google A LOT."
Yea Chris, thats the secret, i know enough to follow reddit instructions lol. At some point you you learn a little more to where you can just troubleshoot on your own, but the best tip for working on computers is get good at google/reddit. You cant possibly learn everything about every possible combonation of parts, but you can get real good at the basics and then just know where to look to fill in the blanks.

  11. Nothing truer has ever been said I got into tech on a random day 10 years ago stumbling on to a budget built by Austin Evens and the rest was history

  12. Example. Dont trust Linus handling hardware.

  13. Consume content.pause the video in question at the Time of consumption .Google search ,learn what it means.remember.amass years of experience.

  14. Can you please do a reaction to “H.264 vs Mpeg2” video by Panasonic Europe?

It’s the worst tech explanation video I’ve ever seen, and would make for a great absurdist video.

  15. I ain't trusting beardless Linus 🗿

  16. Hey Linus is that gpu dummy as you had alr dropped it once and made it one?

  17. Q: How to learn about technology?
    A: *Shows trendy YouTubers*….

  18. I learned from nvidia more you buy more you save

  21. Linus Explains How To Unlock The “Geek Genes”!! 😊

  22. "…crappy stuff…" shows noctua fan, one of the best fan manufacturers out there

  23. To put it simply: you have to live it.
Immerse yourself in the branch of technology you like. Watch content and read about it, play with it, do projects with it. Do research about it. Offer to help your friends with it and do some more research about it. Get a job that allows you access to the type of technology, even on a cheaper or limited levels.

Technology is so wide and rapidly changing, you can't just spend your 8 hours learning about it at school. You have to have the desire for it and live in it. If you want to do it proffessionally.
Once you immerse yourself in it, it starts to come naturally.

  24. Content creator recommends you consume as much content as possible. Great tip.
