1440p 240 fps in warzone 3 do I need the super duper high end lol …
Can you do a build with the 7600x and the 7700xt
In your future vids whenever you build a pc, can you include a 5-10 second clip of how loud the pc gets when gaming?
I need some of that sweet build action
Great video as always Marcus! Sorry about your cat sir.
Awesome video. Could you do one where you build the best 1440 pc between amd and nvidia? Been thinking about upgrading but not sure if it's worth it.
The tuff motherboard isnโt pcie 5 tho the asus strix is
i instantly stopped caring about the pc build once i hear about the cat… rip man ๐
I am wondering if that 4080 Super handles FS2020 on a 3 monitor setup? Other than that I have most of the same components sitting behind me ready foir my new build.
The Power Color RX6600 is more powerful than the A580 and $200. While I'm happy to have more competition for budget GPUs, intel still has some driver issues and you could buy it and then find it runs like crap in some games you want to play. Particularly if they are older titles. But there is no shortage of recent titles where it struggles. If you are prepared for the fact you may be waiting another year or so to have a fully functional GPU that performs well across the board, then save the $20 and get the A580. Meanwhile, the RX6600 will give an acceptable 1440p gaming experience and totally blow the intel GPU out of the water in esports. You can't go wrong pairing it with a Ryzen 5500.
Don't let people sell you on next gen hype. Zen 4 should have been called Zen 3+. My 30 years of experience with PC gaming and building says future proofing is a myth. Has literally only worked out for me once in 30 years. The exception which proves the rule. Zen 5 will have around a 50% IPC uplift due to some architecture improvements and I would bet dollars to doughnuts, you're not going to do it justice with a 600 series MB, especially not with the cheapest B650 you can buy.
IDK why anyone would build an intel based gaming PC. It is just automatically more expensive and/or worse performing in gaming and/or less featured for the same price. And the temps they're running at these days are just insane It is not OK to run a CPU at 95C, no matter how many times they say it is. They don't care about the longevity of your hardware and it is just another example of planned obsolescence. Nobody should be putting a quad core in a new gaming PC build in 2024. 6 cores with HT are the new comfortable minimum.
The Q300L is meta for a budget build at just $40. You want something a little nicer, the Asus AP201 is a nice case and available in white.
I would rather have 32GB of cheap DDR4 than 16GB of expensive DDR4. Have had good luck with SP Value Gaming DDR4. They also don't have a massive heatsink that makes it look like your RAM has a goitre. Yes, 16GB will still work. But if you're on Windows 11 and playing a RAM hungry game, you're going to start getting data in RAM compressed which is not great for a gaming PC. You will be losing FPS with 16GB in a lot of scenarios in 2024 and moving forward. You could probably avoid compression with 24GB but if you are buying new parts, you might as well go for 32 because you aren't going to find matching 4GB sticks for your 16GB kit. Before you scoff at that, consider that this is why they now make 12GB DDR5 modules. It is a way to save some money on an otherwise overpriced current gen build and still get above that RAM compression bottleneck.
Easy to say BIOS flashback makes it ok to buy an incompatible board but what happens when the BIOS flashback fails? Has happened to me recently. Then you're just dead in the water.
I would switch tuf to tomahawk and avoid the hot running and coil whining Zotac…
I recently build a Pc with a 4080 super and 5800x3d would the 7800x3d make a big different?
7900XTX
Arctic III 360 without RBG is still on offer at โฌ76.15! A very good price for a very capable AIO!
you said you would get the i5 KF instead of the i5K version but don't elaborate on why. what's the benefit of not having integrated graphics?
I'm just about to build a PC and I'm going with an RX 6800 GPU and a Ryzen 5 7500f CPU for a total build cost of around ยฃ950. Is that okay? I'd be really interested to see what the community thinks cause I'm kind of nervous I'm going to do something wrong
is a i7 12700k and a 7700xt a good cpu and gpu match?
ASUS TUF 7900 xtx should have been the GPU of choice for sure, and what self respecting Brit shops on Overprice newegg? Could have had that PC below 2K from any other reputable supplier
Save $400 and get the AMD 7900xtx and do yourself a massive favour and turn ray tracing off. And enjoy more fps.
Can I use a 700w power supply for the 7700xt?
Gamemax blatantly steals other company's products… like beyond the design (which I'm cool with) but copypasta's their marketing and everything. I couldn't recommend them to anyone personally
woud it be a good time to buy parts or save ? I'm looking to get a 4080 super paired with a 7800x3d but could u recommend small form factor PC cases with great airflow. thank you
Awe the kitty is very cute. How are you doing?
Can u do a review on the new Alienware 4k oled
