  1. Someone help me with an air-gapping backups question. I have a fast server with an enterprise NVMe. What's the fastest way to get the data onto 8TB of portable/removable media? I am thinking of buying a USB-C interface for the server or a 25Gbps network card. Then either buy fast NVMe storage, put it into an enclosure and connect it directly to the server or…..get a PC with a 25Gbps network card, connect it to the server and attach the NVMe enclosure to that PC via a USB-C cable or a dock of some sort….help?

  2. big (O:)

  3. Place my entire Plex media server library on it. Which currently sits at about 8.5 TB and has in excess of 2000 movies and 20 TV shows most of which are complete series that are nearly 10 years. M*A*S*H, Married with Children, Roseanne, etc

  4. 4tb nvme , 24 tb sea gate hdd good for me 😂

  5. I'd use it for more graphic projects, I need more RAM too 🙂 OH WAIT LIFE OF BORIS IS HERE?? WHAT UP BORIS?!

  6. hey it's average

  7. The pink hat cant be in the video with all that reflection

  8. In my room alone there is over 9 terabytes of storage

  9. More storage than my household? Try again, I’ve got a whole server rack in my bedroom lmao. There’s more storage in my closet NAS than that drive (Disclaimer; do not run server racks at home if you pay for electricity, unless you’re insane like me)

  10. Wie have twenty Terabytes

  11. The fact this is still a lot lol

  12. I would pay about 350€

  13. If you use this daily driving, you might lose the perception of computer capacity size.

  14. I wouldn't pay much for a ton of unused space. I don't even know how to use 1TB

  15. Prices have to drop to magnetic hard drive prices to make sense.

  16. What would I do with 15TB ? I would download every single Pirated Music Softwear there is in existence lol

  17. SSDs always come in packages: 1TB, 2TB, 4TB, 8TB, yet they choose powers of 10 for actual capacity! That's less efficient than actually using genuine powers of two, it's just a marketing ploy.

  18. All those xbox 360 games take 16TB. Um yeah I need the Terabytes!!!

  19. I have almost 100TB of movies. Thanks Holly Wood

  20. It cost 3900 euro !!!

  21. 16 TB nominally !!!

  22. 400$

  23. i would pay like 400-300 dollars, having to essentially never worry about storage ever again is worth it

  24. Linus without his beard kinda of looks like Larry from Ammo NYC.

  25. $-200

  26. Oh, now we need 45 tb

  27. Finally, a place to store a fraction of my 4K po….. I mean research😅

  28. I would use it for network raouter at home so have a movie/music central. Where everybody can get hold of there stuff.

  29. i cant fill 15 tb at all…..for now I could fill 4tb….but not 15…good times are coming with storage lol

  30. I would put MX Linux on it.

  31. CAN IT FIT INTO A 4090 MSI GAMING LAPTOP??

  32. How can be 1KB the 1000 bytes, not 1024? It always was 1024, since I remember myself.

  33. 3000 dollars to blow on SSd space must be nice.

  34. linus complaining about pink sata cable….they only wanted it to match to his potatoeheadcover

  35. With this SSD i can finally play COD without worrying for the future updates

  36. This may be a predecessor to U.3 drives. Who knows.

  37. Meh, one of my computers has a bank of nine 10TB Seagate Exos 10TB drives. My other computer has three 14TB Seagate hard disc drives. The price difference is HUGE still. The 14TB drives were over $300 when I got them and are now down to $200. These SSDs cost well over a thousand dollars.

  38. How do samsung ssds have such mediocre endurance on the tlc side but such decent endurance on the qlc side? Their 8tb qvo ssd has like a 15% higher endurance than this does and it's half the capacity.

  39. 2023 called, you can now get the 15TB for “only” $2500

  40. US$3,299.99 yeah sure..

  41. i had a WB blue SSD in my PC already hand brought a 2nd WB blue SSD…is there a way i cand have both in my PC..i have a ibuypower and it shows a 2nd port for another SSD…how can install the new one and use both together

  42. Well. My home storage is above 100TB server plus 48TB backup server, 16TB SSD RAID on my desktop. That thing is going to be a drop in my ocean. 🙂 My personal Pictures, Videos and Documents only take 10TB. That is over 30 years of my life.

  43. For a welthy man linus sure does love his torrenting/pirating of media puns and gags lol. 😂

  44. In this 4500$ SSD, I would store my Life in it 🙂

  45. There are 2,5" enclosures for SATA or NVMe drives available which give you the same form factor for a fraction of the price. So why bother with an inferior 15TB "prebuilt" for 4000 bucks?

  46. For the low low price of approx $2500 each……

  47. Ha! I have 34 TiB in my household! And no Server.
