If only it wasn't an asus… As it is HARD PASS.
theres no way you said Battlefield isnt a click heads game and has factors. like what?? other than bullet drop theres nothing.
An ASUS product – I dont have the time to put it together again it when it come back from RMA
I love this monitor and I was seriously considering it. For me the curve is just too big, takes up too much depth and isn't good for productivity which I do have to do sometimes. Plus, a 38 inch version even at the same resolution would be amazing. But preferably at 1600, not 1440p. Thanks for the review frank!
what game at 2:30
Is that 2015's Need for Speed?
Rolling in a Honda hatchback, I se your a man of culture as well
Game names?
Ahhh Civic Ek4!
Is there a non-curved version of this?
Does anyone else have an issue with screen capture in HDR? Whenever I use Snagit or Steelseries Moments, the captured image either looks washed out or super bright and distorted. How do you fix this?
Bad timing to promote your monitor, Asus is scam, this is a trap, other brand competitors with same specs are better options
Iβm returning mine donβt trust ASUs warranty anymore
Ya Display Guy is over dramatic on anything matte
You do not understand what HDR is. Youre playing a game that doesn't use HDR properly. BF1 washes out the image. Play something that actually properly uses HDR like Mass effect legendary edition, Elden Ring, or almost any newer console game. HDR gives really nice contrast trust me you'll love it.
too bad its Asus, I am leaving them as last resort at this point.
Someone needs to call out display guy talking bout his dramatic oily haze grainy Matt finishes and basically saying it very monitor because of the coating like wtf.
Costs way too much.
1450 eur in EU, while there is a 165Hz Alienware OLED monitor with same res + same size sold for 810 eur.
Also after all the ASUS RMA horror stories I wouldn't buy anything from them in the foreseeable future.
Recently Gamers Nexus mentioned that they got so many emails from people getting scammed by ASUS that it became impossible to read them all.
i dont care what anyone says 1,300 is wayyyyy too expensive for a monitor
oled monitors are so big, they will go to the point where your whole wall is covered. not a single 25 inch oled is discrimination im sick of seeing monitors larger then my door
Na my dream one has 4k and display port 2.1 80gbs
Do you experience any flickering with G-Sync – especially in dark areas?
The real fear of myself is, that I can't work on those OLED monitors because they will dim here and there whenever the content is white.
38" 3840×1600 > 34" 3440×1440
I'm waiting for the day when the display is has a curve 4k micro led display with 2,000 nits with display hdr 1,400 certification with 240 hz. Like the samsung odyssey g8 neo 4k gaming monitor but with micro led with 1,400 certification instead of mini led with display hdr 1,000 certification like on the samsung odyssey g8 neo.
10:33 which game is that?
I donβt understand how you can put out a video like this without addressing the clear anti-consumer moves by asus.
Was at Microcenter last weekend, and they had one of these on display. Was pretty incredible compared to my Gigabyte G34WQC. OLED just looks so colorful and sharp compared to my garbage VA panel ππ
Which racing game is that?
I just recently bought the Alienware 34" qd-oled monitor and have been super pleased with it. I would love to have 240 hz though. Cant imagine how smooth that must be
Not on Amazon for me
Asus… yeah NOPE !
Wish PlayStation had DP get the most out your monitor
I went back to 32 inch. 34 inch is a terrible monitor size.. If you go ultrawide then it's 38 inch or nothing.
Welcome to the OLED family Frank P. π
You lost me at Asus. Good luck @randomfrankp if you need to use your warranty. lol. Then again youβre a YouTube influencer with a large following. Youβll actually be taken care of. lol
Kind of criminal yhat you didnt talk about the PPI since that has been an issue with most Ultrawide monitors.
bah, end game is 38" 240hz OLED, 1600p is goat
screen too small
Iβve been saving for months to get this exact monitor. BUTβ¦ LG just came out with 34GS95QE-B for $900 USD compared to PG34WCDM which comes in at $1300 USD. Both have almost identical specs (OLED, 34β, 240hz, etc.) I was just doing extensive research on both monitors just last night
i have 32inch screen is 34 inch not to big aslo never had curved screen idk if i will like
SO actually this is just a paid video without mentioning being paid for it?
3440×1440 not enough these days mate, we need 5120×2160 monitors for a sharper and more crisp image, lot of games in that res looks too blurry compared to 4K
shadowplay is capped at 60 fps, no?
Me personally my dream monitor has warranty support
