  2. Experiencing what your customers experience by using your own products in real-world scenarios is called dogfooding, and is a good thing when done right

  3. Africa grey can live up to 60 – 80 years So Yea big responsibility.

  4. For us EU folk.

You can eventually find the petition by googling stopkillinggames, but they say that it could take up to couple of months for the actual form to become publicly available.

"The best option for most non-owners of "The Crew" in the EU will be to sign the European Citizens' Initiative to prohibit videogame publishers from leaving games in an inoperable state for all customers once they end support. Unfortunately, due to the time involved in the EU processing our proposal, it may be months before it finally opens for public signing. While this is discouraging, it will be open for a full year after that occurs, so there will be ample time to come back later and sign it. We are disappointed more than anyone that we can't act on this issue sooner in the EU, but we will update the site as soon as it becomes available. Please return later on!"

  5. Dan! Don't go blonde! We need someone to rock the frosted tips.

  6. Stating how much you "don't care" when it's glaring how obvious your hate for Elon is doesn't work, I mean you went on a whole tangent after saying how much you "don't care" about all the things you view as wrongdoings by him or his company. Usually people that say they don't care don't have to tell you they don't care, because they DONT CARE.

  7. Careful Liney you ride Elon any harder and people might start speculating again. No but for real though, this feels like a Kylie Jenner situation, Linus thinks he's self made and that he's "above" Elon so he's lashing out like a toddler.

  8. As someone with only one eye, screw 3D.

  9. Damn 12 more seconds and it would have been 3:33:33 ☹️

  10. I paused the video at 1:30:09 as I was getting up to use the restroom and all I heard was “it has an antislip bottom butt(upward influction)” 😂

  11. Musk is the man but he does set deadlines way too early.

  12. dbrand please pull out the big money and make the three of them paint their hair!

  13. 3:18:43 Well Samsung might allow it to work on other manufactured phones but they might lock out features. I have a Galaxy Watch 4, and I can't use the heart rate monitor because I don't have a Samsung phone. So I have to use a modified version of the Samsung health app for it to work.

  14. Frankly the deep fake Linus looks like a baby between you and Luke

  15. As I lean professional who does it for a living, I can assure you the value stream map is a really powerful tool to help you identify low hanging fruits and help you find bottlenecks in the process. It is looking at whole value stream at a macro scale.

  16. I remember growing up and 1 random friend into photography would occasionally get a snap of somone kids growing up where ever1 taks pics is crazy

  17. I will pay for 3d floatplane on VR

  18. The Game Pass situation is AWFUL… if you don't use it on PC like I do. For me, a student with not a lot of disposable income, a $2 price increase and still Day 1 games, the value is still great.
(I don't trust Microsoft to maintain that forever, but still worth it for me.

  19. Shoutout to the Stronger By Science team for developing the MacroFactor app (been using it for 3 years now)

  20. Nesquick in Canada I never buy. Nesquick in France 🔥

  21. Anyone selling something or trying to get others to buy something…sponsors Linus *cough cough*. 😂

  22. Regarding LTT sustainability: Wake On Lan project for the office… 🙂

Its possible to set alternate monitor & pc sleep timeouts on windows/linux where the machine sleeps much faster after say 9pm than between 8am and 9pm. GLHF

  23. The temperature of ice/liquid water is zero deg C AT standard pressure. That standard pressure part is important, at a vacuum the the water will go from solid to gas almost instantly. 😉

  24. 37:00 I do drum covers and use RipX do to this exactly with drums. It really is clutch.

  25. 25:14 Our mothers and/or wives in our lives are troopers. Absolute workhorses.

  26. Man, kinda glad I keep missing these, it really is just you guys complaining about the same shit over and over acting like "it needs to change" when we all know it won't. Tesla can base their stupid data on whatever they want, it's a private company get over it it's not even that bad. Gamepass prices go up….woah guess what everything went up how shocking that it went up with literally everything else. Also it's not possible to really "own" your games anymore, everything is digital and it's not changing so just accept it and stop bitching about it all the time. You need to stop bitching about shit that aint changing every week and start to focus on things that could actually change for the better. Just so tired of just nonstop negitivity these days everywhere (not just you,), it's fucking exhausting

  27. FINALLY the ball has started rolling, time to get back ownership of digital media!
This also is good news for movies and TV shows 😱🥳

  28. 02:24:24 You will own nothing and be happy to the streaming services remark. Network TV cost more and you own nothing, Dish, YoutubeTV, Members only, Steam, A ticket to a concert, or film or play or football game, There are a lot of things you buy and dont own. I am curious whats the argument or point to the statement?

  29. Well yea of cause it is going to AIO pc system, what do you think a console is if not a pc you can´t DIY or upgrade. They (pc makers) WANT you to buy a 1,5K USD or more if the smallest thing brake. E-waste and money is ALL they care about and all they want to produce. Money spent on used or 3rd party parts is not money in their pockets, they hate that with a passion, just as they hate you (the user) and don´t give a flying Fig if things brake and you are forced to buy new complete systems every time. Console typ systems are the sad future for computers so companies can control what you can do and what you can say/play.

  30. 1:56:23 shut up troll…. Mike Rowe is an awesome person.

  31. Doesn’t freezing point also depend on pressure? So depending on the weather and altitude above sea lvl it could be a “measurable” amount below zero. Like-.1 or something

  32. 57:44 I find that things are immediately 100% more interesting when Linus is passionate about something no matter what it is

  33. Ow i prefer it when the lights go dimmer 🙁

  34. As a senior developer, I've been pushed into management in every position I've held. If you're a good developer, you're always suddenly expected to manage other developers, when all you want to do is just write code. It reminds me a of bit from the late Mitch Hedberg: "When you're in Hollywood and you're a comedian, everybody wants you to do other things. All right, you're a stand-up comedian, can you write us a script? That's not fair. That's like if I worked hard to become a cook, and I'm a really good cook, they'd say, "OK, you're a cook. Can you farm?"

  35. Let’s remember that Elon is also chief engineer, he doesn’t just evaluate the end product but the methodology of the training techniques that are going to be rolled out across the world. From this perspective it makes sense that an engineer would use a test track they are familiar with. It doesn’t get anymore real-world than the real-world. And it doesn’t get anymore familiar than their daily commute. It’s not like he’s posted up like Caligula with his thumb up or thumb down on self driving.

Don’t discount the iterative process of Elon testing every version of the self driving Beta on his home turf, it is a hard fact that he has his engineering fingers in all his projects, he didn’t contract Nvidia to build Dogo for him. I think of his commute as more of a test track, to see how well a road can be trained for, testing the training techniques rather than the end product which is best tested on a road it has no training data from. Get it all dialed in there where he has the most familiarity to be focused and recognize the patterns of behavior as they change update to update. It’s training wheels, and the guy is so busy, and it’s a road he’s already on. Is that ego or time management?

When it comes to the man’s character, I honestly feel he gets off on making tests with known variables (his commute) more than he gets off on some ego trip as his detractors like to characterize him. We all have ideological constructs about how the world works, and generalizations about how actors in that narrative behave. People’s stigmas towards corporations or governance heavily bias how they see people living in various archetypical rolls. Assuming behaviors or traits just because of a person’s position, as it aligns with their construct of how that type of actor exists within their world view. Which then leads to confirmation-bias tainting all their new observations with their previously prejudiced bad takes.

People call Elon a CEO as if he’s not an Engineer, they call him a Billionaire as if he’s not an Environmentalist. I would argue he’s not a Billionaire, because whatever you think a “Billionaire” is, is just some nonsense you made up in your head, as your mind makes generalizations to try to make sense of the world. Show me two billionaires that are even remotely similar to each other.

Especially among people who construct their own self identity around being smart, there’s a tendency to diminish other’s success relative to their’s. Seeking some kind of angle in which they are still smarter, kinder, superior, to the point that they fabricate character flaws in people who are clearly smarter and kinder. Looking at his tweets and driving head long into their confirmation bias of how the tweet comes from childish insecurity, dude look in the mirror.

This living Ultra Chad is wayyyy cooler than you, get over it. The reason he did something about climate and you didn’t…. Is because the man lives a selfless virtuous life in service to the magnificence of all that is good and beautiful in the universe, which maybe is so un-relatable to a selfish person that they can’t believe it, and invent ulterior motives.

The reason he saved free speech in the digital era is Not because he’s a cheeky tart, and so you get to pat yourself on the back about being better than him. Nay! It’s because he is cooler than you. After this post I’m going to go back to wishing I had the anatomy to be one of his breeding surrogates, but never once have I thought anyone in your click bait farm worthy of my incubation. But I still love you guys, just so we’re on the same page.

Btw, you’re not actually smart, you just invented that identity because you were bad at sports, or worse… you were fine at sports but just had the seed of spite in you to denigrate the jocks and the meatheads as your inferior, because you’re a thinking man and strategy is the true measure of merit, or you weren’t pretty so you shunned the notion of esthetics as you exalted your intellect, these are common tropes that linger as confirmation biases well into adulthood, an arc you may have carried into your critique of gameplay vs graphics, notions about people doing things because it’s “just popular”, stigmas towards corporations, government, billionaires etc. Even rationalizing that wealth is inherently un-ethical, or only comes from shady practices, a common resentment reframed as reflecting their poor victimized golden-heart, yet another denigrating badge of personal-supremacy, helped along by a bandwagon of popular narratives all stewing in the same bitter broth. A broth unfit to bear the seed of true excellency!

  36. Musk is a con artist, he over promises, under delivers and does everything he can to fake it.

  37. Didn't Tesla always say that they are not using maps but only real time data from the sensors? If you can annotate things on specific routes, that seems to be a lie.

  38. 1:02:41 reminds me of "no more boring cars" by toyota. i really hope ltt follows through on this "promise"
