I want a gaming laptop because I have many hours where I am not doing anything at work and would like a streaming and gaming machine on the go, any suggestions? open to anyone with ideas, looking to spend around $1200 but am not opposed to going higher for a better product.

I've owned my laptop since 2018 and have just upgraded the HDD to SSD and increased the ram to 12GB and been cruising since then. I recently saw one of these new fangled Samsung thin and lights, Jaysus its thin and the screen is amazing.
I might actually trade my thick boy in not for a samsung though as they have a bad rep but an Asus zenbook S 16 or something. I think laptops like Omen are going to become more uncommon as if you want that gaming power you should just go for a PC build anyway. It's not really portable, very few people are actually going to want to lug that around in their backpack.

I have a gaming PC upstairs in the back bedroom and I have been looking for a new laptop. I am a fulltime carer for my disabled elderly mother and getting on the PC or Xbox Series X is a real pain for me, so this would do me perfectly when I am in the livingroom with her. Just the price is putting me off a little. But it is what it is. Great video, close ups of laptop are cool, it is a good looking bit of kit.
Is the Omen lineup reliable for longevity?

Hey Markus, I've never been a laptop user because I've always seen them as too cumbersome to use , even though now I use my Android phone to receive and process information since my desktop is out of commission. Maybe I'll succumb to my inhibitions and force myself to use a laptop later on.๐๐
