The best option is a Ryzen 4070
Im very happy with my i7 14700kf. I choose this cpu because i buy always intel. But I love the 7800x3d. Maby switch one day?😮
I'm happy with my Intel Core i7-14700K, with 5.3Ghz clock speed capable, 20 physical cores, 28 logical processors; and ASUS ProArt RTX 4080 16GB GDDR6. Allows me to render a 1hr 4k video in PowerDirector 365 in only 15 minutes, instead of 2 hours which is how long it would take with my old system (i7-6700k, gtx 1070).
I’m interested in 7800x3d. Does browsing YouTube and doing my schoolwork and doing research for classes work 100% fine? I know I keep reading it’s greater for gaming. But if I can still do these tasks I’d be happy with that. And if I can run wallpaper engine fine.

I was thinking of getting a Ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 4070 super
As a gamer that also wants to dable in creation kit for starfield i went for a Ryzen7 7700x with 64gb ram on 6000mhz and cl40 combined with a gigabyte radeon rx 7600xt with 16gb of vram.
Going from a 2019 laptop with Ryzen5 5600h and 16gb ram with a rtx3050mobile gpu and only 4gb
I hope it does the trick and i am able to use the kit, and have sf run above 35fps 😂
To be fair, all cpu seem to have issues atm. It always was about the rng for silicon and with these latest cpu releases… Thats even more the case, just find that cpu you know it wil do what you ask and hope for the best when you buy👍🏻 6:15
I will save your time and say the best gaming CPU is still Ryzen 7 7800X3D. You can leave Zen <5% for AMD fanboys or just let them rot on shelves

7800X3D – for higher end builds
3600/5600x for more budget builds
The best thing to do right now, is to wait for the 9800X3D, then get DDR5-6400 CL30, since that is the new sweet spot for Zen 5, make sure to get 2x32GB, since while 32GB is the new standard, 64GB will get you noticeably better 1% and 0.1% lows and will last you much longer.

So obviously, I was looking between the 7800 X3D and the 7950x3d. I’m thinking I’m gonna need the productivity side of the 7950 so it worked out for me. All that being said Amazon delivered it to the wrong house, they ended up refunding me the price that I paid for it, and then a neighbor knocked on my door and said that they had a couple days later. So essentially I got a 7950 for free. That being said, I feel like I’ve seen a good bit of things about the 7950 being a little more difficult than the 7800 what’s everyone’s?
