Amazing Products TV Google Pixel 9 Pro XL or Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra? 🤔

Comments

  1. I am facing the same sound issue don't know what it is.

  2. I'm a crocs and socks type of guy myself

  3. I daily drive a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 so Alex's experience, especially with emulated Solidworks, means I likely could upgrade to a SP11 for the portability and still use my desktop at home if need be for anything heavier.

Also Sammy wins on the footwear!

  4. Could you imagine if a phone had battery life like this?

  5. My biggest dispointement on this is the complete absence of communication from Microsoft, ex : will emulation improve ? has it already been improved ? who knows…

  6. How well does Visual Studio run on these?

  7. Can Microsoft just solve the Windows ARM licensing so I can run it in a VM on Mac without paying Parallels a subscription? UTM is fine for my needs. It can run Windows 11 ARM just fine, how is this a problem. I'm trying to pay you M$ and you're actively blocking me.

  8. but this is the same as with linux if it doesnt work don't bother and find something else

  9. linux on snapdragon for a month?

  10. Did I see a Galaxy Note9??

  11. I never use my laptop without plugging it in.
I tried to use it during some lectures in the past but it would die after the first one and needed to charge it during the second.

  12. How does this compare to the latest AMD chips in a decently speced laptop

  13. It has a hypnotoad mode built in 🔥

  14. I have been using the same HP snapdragon laptop. It was as clunky as using Linux in 2005. Thinking that gave me an idea. Install Linux. So I installed Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon and was astounded. Everything worked out of the box. Battery life was slightly better. Before, on Windows, I would get 5 days of normal use per charge and with Mint, about 6 days. I think for any laptop with a snapdragon processor, I will just use it as a Linux machine until Microsoft can get their act together.

  15. A pretty significant percentage of macbook users are IT professionals / software engineers so it's pretty surprising how little coverage their workload receives during these reviews. It's always been this way and it's disappointing to see. Hell even AWS with it's Graviton ARM processor are probably making a killing on cloud spends literally billions saved on energy and here we talk Windows on ARM for Solidworks, car audio, and wifi issues, niches when you compare the industry revenue

  16. A keyboard without PageUp/Down buttons is a total shit though. Total. I don't even know how do others scroll big documents.

  17. So… real question then: Are Snapdragon based laptops just 2024 versions of Netbooks? Just the "just good enough to travel with and do basic browsing and document tasks"? Because yeah I can see these being great for travelers or students just needing to do regular tasks especially on the go. But if they have to do any sort of heavy work, you need a "real" laptop.

  18. Was thinking on one of these with 5G Mobile network. Parsec to my computer and have it run all the games.
Would like more elaboration on the parsec issues, did you get it to work with no issues (few answer googling said not working well)

  19. I think like many “firsts” in life this will get better. But right now I think it’s for wealthy people that want a new toy. 2 gen’s from now these will probably be dominating the market.

  20. I probably wouldn't buy this to game but for a uni laptop. But like I have a Lenovo with a 10th gen i5 and 20gb of RAM which I can play any small game on it and anything else I can play on my steamdeck or my desktop

  21. If we switched the title of this from "ARM" to "Linux", would they be just as tolerant of the shortcomings? Or would they be pontificating about how one or two minor stumbles price that Linux is not ready.

I see a double standard here.

LTT is definitely very pro consumer, but I think they need to start becoming advocates of a more free experience to complete that great objective.

  22. the amount of time I thought that was my windows was concerning hahha

  23. The teams notification at 01:53 was cruel
