I wouldn't recommend buying a new system with 5800x3d, it has the same gaming performance as 7600x on average and you can get that for similar or less money plus you gen and am5 system that you can upgrade in a future.
I don't get the "herd mentality" concept for PCs. Isn't it just the best product in that price range? Like the only thing preventing me from getting an RX 7900 XTX or an RTX 4090 is not that I have a preference toward one or the other, or because people say one of them is better or something. It's literally just the price tag.
Actually, I think I'm the only guy in the world who has a herd mentality for buying the processors for my PCs. I bought all AMD Zen 3 based processors and all of them are Ryzen 7, from AMD Cezanne (Ryzen 7 5700G), Vermeer (Ryzen 7 5700X3D) and Rembrandt (Zen 3+ based mobile processors, Ryzen 7 7735HS).
I've been using the 12700k for the last few years and I've never come across this not booting issue.

As someone with a 3080 12gb , a 5800x3d, and 32gb ram, I'm set for at least the next 6-7 years. Especially considering all the artificial price gouging going on in the PC market. You still can't even find a 4090 at msrp. Let alone a 4060.
I wonder if the irony of "herd mentality" is lost on someone who has nearly sixteen million subscribers. 🤔

I knew my 1000watt seasonic power supply was completely overkill when I got it but I wanted long term stability… I got it. I'm still using it 4 years on and it's rock solid, not to mention made my transition to a 4070 Ti and way more power-hungry CPU seamless and the modular cables have come in handy multiple times. Best unnecessary extra 50% cost on a part I ever spent.
How is that 4070ti super is better than 4080 super
Imagine building a super expensive PC to play a game at 24-30 FPS. What a f. joke. And I know its RT and 4k, but still, what a time to be alive as a gamer.

I was going to get a MSI board with my recent build but found numerous forum posts about the ethernet just outright failing to work half the time across several boards with little in the way of a solid fix. They might be slightly cheaper than other boards but that's a deal breaker right there
Oh wow I just upgraded my PC 2 months ago with that exact same PSU cooler, exact same GPU, exact same case. Only the PSU and RAM were different.
