2:08 Not so sure I like how much flex I see in that board. Might that be compounded when the board undergoes thermal cycling when in use, going from load to no load and whatnot?
Bet you LTT doesn't even read these older comments on videos and if they did they'd bring Anthony back for a build, he actually shows you how to put the parts in proper and he's more entertaining then Linus IMO, he takes the time to explain stuff like even putting the CPU in the correct way and even talks about how to install the ram which once again Linus NEVER talks about, bring Anthony back for another PC build I'm sure more people would enjoy watching the videos
Actually, the only reason for a totally silent, fanless PC is to use as an HTPC. Just put some SSD's in it, store a bunch of movies in them, hook it up to your widescreen in the living room and run it with a Ryzen 5 Pro 2400GE whose 35 watts TDP will never throttle, that case will easily handle that. That APU will go maybe 10 watts with a 4K movie playing at most.
If you're gaming, get some fans and an adequate case. You'll never hear the fans if you plan ahead.
More Antony content, plz
Frankly it seems more like we currently have more powerful embedded CPU's than we do regular socket CPUs, w/ mini PCs pumping out super powerful systems. Im more curious if I can just buy embedded boards and adapt them to this~
I swear idk who makes the subtitles on ltt videos but they really don't know anything about computers, "Noctua" was written as "[inaudible]" oh come on
why say zed. not just z tf wrong with ppl these days
So weird that they chose to put the other HDMI port in an inaccessible location instead of the serial port. If they really wanted the serial port they could have just moved it where that other HDMI port is so people CAN use it if they really need to.
if the thing had HDMI in it could be used as a streaming rig
I'd love to see this retested with a 5600G build, which is something the ASRock x300 board does officially support.
passive cooling sucks
How did "instructions unclear, motherboard taco" NOT become a shirt? I would buy one for every day of the week.
ha, cornryzen)
125 nah i will clearly pay 299 for that
lol 😂 recommending videos from 2019!? 🤭🤣
What's the point of tests that bear zero resemblance to real-world use cases?
“Thermal Compound”! That’s my new artist name! Please don’t steal my idea internet!
its a laptop without a screen or fan or keyboard etc. ok.
I'd get some of those little adhesive heatsinks they use for Raspberry Pis for those VRMs
i think that using liquid metal is a good idea in this case (if it have a copper base)
I don’t like the mother board, it’s too huge and didn’t make use of the space, make mini pc usually pretty huge in size, why can’t I get a mini pad in terms of that size?
What would you suggess to do a passive cooling / fanless Computer ?
What jumper are you setting to use the 19V DC adapter instead of internal power supply? i have the same board and cant find it referenced in the meanual?
Every LTT video ever about fanless PC's somehow involves a fan
F
i like the idea of heat sink case, i wish it wasnt scaled down
If it looks like a toaster and gets hot like a toaster, it must be a toaster!

Love Anthony. Could listen to him read me a book or could see him being a voice actor in some video games or something.
