Hey guys i had this enthusiastic nuc it was powerful but not that quiet i suggest this for normal multitasking and kinda for gaming, its true it can run most of triple AAA games but it will get noisy but it depends on how you leave the fan speed ,if you leave it on balanced it wont get loud but might get hotter, if you leave it on cool it will keep temps down but it will be louder if you wanna know how loud like normal gaming laptop.If you wanna buy this consider getting two 8 gigs of ram sticks dont buy a single stick of 16 gb ram or 8gb ram stick it will bottleneck i did that mistake and i got fps drops in gta 5 cuz i got only a single 16 gb ram stick so please dont make my mistake b ,I also saw all the reviews about it ,everyone said its quiet but not for me i returned it a week later ,the reviews might say its good , its not bad or anything wrong with it but some of them reviewed it out of the box like what device will not perform good out box so i got nothing against it .If you consider getting this its your choice, it didn't work for me but it might for someone else who knows

What's the modability of the nuc?
Bought this 2 months ago since the price dropped to 480€ (GER). Runs CS2 @1080p high settings at easily 120-150fps while being very quiet. Neat little thing 🙂

I still have the skull canyon from 2016. it's not gamer killer, but man! I love how small and compact this thing is. 1tb plus 32gb I'm in. I still can play games on it, like retro. I believe the egpu razer works with it, I tested once. but I'm counting only the nuc itself
Can’t decide on which panel to utilize with this little beast? 1080 or 1440. Down scaling from 1440 to 1080 I believe can achieve pretty average outcomes if I want to strive for higher frames. And also the fact I’d love to use on the same monitor as my ps5. Tough call.

i really dont understand an almost fully fladed gaming laptop without battery is about the same litteridge as this. Something is wrng about the lying advertisment of this. They could easly do an asus m16 2021 rt 3080t 120w i9 12900h into this, having coolin from 360 degrees in the same size, they just dont want to capitalize heir gaming laptop sales thats just the real deal her 🙂

Could I use it as my vr gaming pc?
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one tired of the desktop tower form factor. Really no need for them when they can manufacture something like the Xbox Series X. The only positive is modularity/customization/repairability; I hope to see a smaller form factor that still allows modularity. But one big thing that has been keeping from getting a PC is having to have that big, clunky tower.

The videos are coming out so quick that I think quality has also dropped. My twin brother told me last week he things Linus has gone from informative to a TV show just trying to produce videos with no real content.
