Karaoke is fun. For some people. But I don’t want to cram myself into a tiny room where everything is too loud. But sometimes, you gotta do what makes people happy. So we started on a search to find the best at home karaoke solutions, and we think we found some decent options. But the search wasn’t easy.

Never in my life I'd imagined hearing Linus and team singing All Star in an LTT video.
PGA48 was not a good choice for microphones… one of the reasons they're a lot cheaper is because in my experience they include a lot more background noise and make it much easier to run into feedback.
I used
Xenyx1202fx mixer
Sennheiser e835 mics
Donner cv2 wireless mic adapter
SMSL sa-98e amp
Dayton audio bookshelf speaker
Laptop+YouTube+YouTube TV browser extension+ phone as controller
This is my first time seeing Linus's kids and the older one looks just like Yvonne.
The sound town karaoke system the battery and microphone set up looks more like a CAD Audio, WX 50 which is it all right microphone
actually. nobody uses a 3in1 at home. 🤣 just buy and integrated amplifier 1000watt. + good speakers(1000watt) and use your cellphone to mirror the screen. while on bluetooth audio. done. 😊
This would've been great for a diy project (not prosumer)- build a portable machine with wireless or wired mics, with a raspi and for the mics some microcontrollers, a speaker of your choice and a screen and battery could probably be on par better in price and quality vs the second option.
Yamaha, the Motorcycle company?
Should have got a rockband setup instead. Karaoke but better
Love that y'all gave Shure some much deserved love. They get taken for granted, but I don't know if there are better, more reliable mics for the price anywhere.
So you spend like 10k on speakers and amps but can’t spend 100 for a mid range microphone? This is stupid sorry….
LINUS IS A FATHER!?!
Karaoke is taken very seriously by Filipinos. However, the All In One garbage that my parents, and many other filipino families typically buy are absolute garbage. Every setup ive seen has horrible UI, terrible sound quality, outdated IO, lack of modern song choices, and inefficient ways to update the song library in general. I might have to check out that AIO product to gift my parents for the holidays.
Daughter: i want a karaoke dad
Linus: oh great idea lets make a youtube video
Daughter: i dont want a karaoke
Best Karaoke Machine is Platinum Karaoke Alpha 2 or Grand Videoke
Editor: "Please stop talking about this. I have a family to feed" had me cracking x'D
no ty we had singstar in house not again
Just for reference you might want to censor the audio to "wonderwall", in Britain it's considered a war-crime to expose humans to it for more than 20ms.
Thank you David
For me if the crab rave had lyrics it'd be cha cha da da da da
6:48 Linus singing Wonderwall, the internet is complete.
Buen video
Can you turn the Ikarao Shell S1 into a gaming PC??
Have just watched 2 mins but anyone else would just buy a cheap karaoke kit, what I have seen and guess, Linus gonna go all the way with real high quality mics and stuff 😂
For hating karaoke, Linus seems to have a good time XD
Should have tried Magic Sing, a karaoke system. Fairly cheap.
I use Ultrastar Deluxe on my living room pc. 2 wired PS2 mics, 2 wireless PS3 mics. 800 songs with video, simple interface. 30 bucks
This is the most "DAD" moment Linus has ever been. Kids just wanted a simple and fun Karaoke machine. Linus here going far and beyond with the hardware like his kids have an upcoming audition with The Voice Canada.
Thank you so much, Linus Tech Tips, for the shoutout!! We're thrilled to see you enjoying the KaraFun app! 🙌 It’s awesome to see KaraFun featured in your video.
By the way, we’ve just launched something exciting: the Karaoke Party Station – a compact and easy-to-set-up karaoke machine, perfect for an instant karaoke experience at home! 🎉 And to make it even better, we’ll be sending one your way!
Why do I get the feeling that one of those crappy little AliXpress Disco boxes is excrly what Linus daughter wanted 😂
Kids reaction reminds me of how I used to want this super obnoxious RC robot abomination for my brithday. Didn't get it, so I asked for it again for christmas, still didn't get it, asked for it again next birthday, didn't get it.
By then, time has passed, I got older and I realized I didn't want that ugly thing anymore and thought it was stupid anyway. So the next christmas, I did not ask for it. Guess what I got?
Judging how difficult it was to get that thing, I assumed it was quite a big deal for my dad to buy it for me, so faking my excitement was quite hard and yeah I never used it
Good times
Adam; please google inundated pronunciation.
🤦🏽♂️
For me it would have been interesting tho is how to use it with you home setup and protect it from beeing damaged.
Linus' kids gaslighting Linus is hilarious. Also Linus need to sing the Sabaton Seven Pillars of Wisdom!
Ayo swans mentioned in ltt?
Instead of getting her a karaoke machine, give her lasting memories with a good mechanical keyboard.
Would definitely teach my child’s to master the DIY solution! If they’re able to read, they’re able to learn how to use mics and mixers. 💕
What a fun video! Im actually a professional KJ in real life. Never really thought about a kids setup. You could set up an audio limiter between the mixer and the speakers. That would keep the kids from being able to damage your home system. Behringer makes an inexpensive one. seismic audio has some really nice Pa/mic combos that might work better though.
Karaoke-Version is a great place to get songs, as is SunFly (which is not available in the US unfortunately). Karafun is a really good option for single use parties. Pretty sure they have or at least had a 1 night party option that was less than the 10 a month fee. but it's been a while since i checked them out because i like to own my own music. VDJ is another option that you can use for the program. it's free if you're not using a big fancy DJ mixer and has a simplified skin for easier use. that also gives you the ability to load virtually any music file from mp4, to wav, to cdg.
I didnt know Linus adopted children. I didnt think the guy could be any more awesome ❤
