Comments

  1. rewatching this as background noise and see a Ktuned shirt…. foreshadowing a future video lol

  2. I am pretty sure you could have shielded it just fine with heavy cast iron or tungsten.

  3. fallout 76 is a nice game and there will be new raid next season (season 19) and THE BOSS will be gient SNAKE!

  4. Linus: NEVER TOUCH LEAD!!!
    Me, a diver: O-o

  5. I used to play with lead as a kid. I'd melt it in empty cans or whatever steel container I'd find laying around my parents yard and cast shapes with it .

  6. I'm not saying that this is a deal breaker or anything alike. But seems weird that You guys are getting a sponsorship from a game that was plagued by microtransactions since launch made by the company that brought us horse armor.

  7. No thank you !

  8. "Sometimes we can error stack in the correct direction" 💀 Task failed successfully

  9. The "You dont need birth control when you're wearing eight condoms. Bring in the lead." Is extremely dracula flow

  10. So what was the rad level inside the lead container? Was waiting for that comparison.

  11. the audacity of bethesda asking for anything related with fallout 76, biggest letdown in the franchise.

  12. Fallout 76 is hot garbage

  13. Fallout 76 is still alive? I thought for sure it was "Death of a Game" fodder by now. Is it somehow good?

  14. What will you do for electricity and Internet? Both will be knocked out by the EMP blasts from a nuclear bomb if not by the blast itself.
    Nice work, but unnecessary. 🤓

  15. Appa-latch-a, not Appa-laych-a.

  16. yay intro 🙂

  17. 99 lead balloons was great

  18. lead is dangerous..? BS… I use to play with lead when I was a kid… and nothing bad ever happened…

  19. i also thought he meant to cut it by punching holes ?

  20. As someone who made a "radiation box" lead is kinda fun to work with, also pro tip just use a box cutter to cut it

  21. I do recall Linus saying something about putting side panels on before fully testing the PC for functionality. Prolly applies to Lead Panels too.

  22. Wait till Linus hears about lead flashing used on roofs everywhere in the world outside of the US and Canada.

  23. Why don't Chernobyl use this O_o

  24. And here i am openly handling lead making fishing lures lol

  25. Nice try, awesome project.. But Fallout 76 is still the worst Fallout game ever. Case sold, game not. Thanks to Bethesda anyway.

  26. imagine is the year 2164 after an actual nuclear fallout and some guy who really wants to play retro games in his bunker finds this video as a guide

  27. Touching lead oxide that is sweet..

  28. It's all in the lead dust. Or aerosolized like we used to do with our gasoline.
I used to vacuum foreclosure properties that were a little bit old. I removed the HEPA filter because it was getting old. Didn't really think twice about it. I've come across giant paint chunks all the time that fell off the wall. Nobody told us

  29. maybe bethesda should have saved that 1k and put it towards making an actual good new game

  30. lead aint that bad

  31. All that work… and no geiger counter measurements sucks. Are there no WiFi or Bluetooth based devices….

  32. I work underground in a lead mine

  33. you can solder lead together, with a lead stick

  34. Is it EMP proof?

  35. Man metallic lead isn't as bad as the oxide, lead in gasses (guns) or the worst: leaded gas. That stuff got into the ground and consumed because it entered plants. When handling it just wash your hands afterwards and maybe change clothes and wear an appropriate respirator when fine particles are involved.

  36. "too much radiation can cause cell damage… or cancer"
    OOOOH, that explains Reddit.

  37. why is Chernobyl spelt 'Chornobyl' ?

  38. 18:55 never seen Linus so speechless for so long

  39. wow.. what a shitty job you guys did on that… Like it's not at all in fallout style and it looks like a piece of garbage

  40. Surprisingly, it doesn't weigh that much more than my full tower PC at 60 lbs.

  41. Engineer note: Fallout computers wouldn't actually get as much effected by radiation, since they work mostly on vacuum tubes, not transistors.

*transistor diodes work on mV, while vacuum tube diodes work at upto 400v, making the energy required to excite the membrane a lot harder.

  42. Oh cool I'm glad someone told me lead was this dangerous when I was cutting piece after piece with my bare hands, no mask and a grinder. Fucking great.

  43. it blows my mind they just casually blast so much radiation and then open the door as if it goes into thin air. does linus understand he now can be diagnosed with cancer in a few years?

  44. You've done that in the most awkward way possible, could have just cut out a box "template" from the lead sheet and 5 simple folds
