  1. Do you like warm or cool lighting in the kitchen? šŸ¤”

  2. Warm lights for sure

  3. I love the philips hue dimmer switch. Bought it last week and it's just so good compared to the old solution (wear os app)šŸ˜…

  4. Set the microwave 5minutes in the past šŸ˜€ Then it will display the right time the next morning..

  5. Great inspiration. For voice control though, you are using Google Assistant, correct? HA Assist voice does not work. as fully kiosk browser cannot use mic or speakers.

  6. Team cool light during the day and while doing things that require to see things better and warm at night.

  7. While I appreciate the use of motion sensors, there are many times that I might want to move around without turning on lights. Fringe example: you have a prowler or animal outside and you donā€™t want to alert them that you are there.

  8. Never cool white

  9. If your air gradient is correct at the time of recording, your indoor co2 levels were 1000ppm. Thatā€™s borderline on ā€œturn on ventilationā€ and drowsiness levels.

  10. i'll take your echo show 15 lolšŸ˜‚

  11. You should definitely automate the vent fan. Ours automatically turn on when weā€™re cooking.

  12. Thanks to one of your videos we bought a CO2 sensor for our bedroom and figured out we often times sleep in a room with very high CO2 values (2.000-3.000). Bought one for our kids room immediately. Best solution for us (besides opening windows) was to leave the roomā€˜s door open.

  13. Is there a reason for leaving the sidebar visible on the dashboard? I'm also a big fan of removing the top bard as well so it looks less like a browser page.

  14. the echo show ads can be stopped by using pi-hole dns, it's great whole home dns that stops most ads including amazon.

  15. Great video! I love the dinner automation and the lighting automation with the vibration sensor. Definitely are awesome additions thank you!

  16. Don't leave us hanging on the calendar video!! I just set up my kitchen dashboard yesterday and then saw you posted this video today. Would love to get some inspiration from your .yaml for the atomic calendar!

  17. Warm light

  18. Cool winšŸ‘

  19. I hate ads so much I replaced my Amazon Echo show. Stay tuned after this ad for more details……

  20. FYI not to nit pik but you spelled dispenser wrong as maybe I have misspelled nit pik. šŸ˜

  21. I'm team adaptive lighting, apple home has their version, but I use the home assistant variant, with some tweaking you can have some really good adaptive lights in the home to help you have that perfect day/night lightning.

  22. We have water leak sensors as well but they are also linked to our main water valve. When a water leak sensor goes off, it will turn off the water.

  23. Cool white when cooking and warm white when around the kitchen for general use just for aesthetic reasons.

  24. Any use for your FP2 anymore? I thought you used to have it in the living room/kitchen area?

  25. We have a magnet on my dishwasher that says clean on one side dirty on the other much cheaper šŸ˜€

  26. Freaking awesome! Uhh the last three seconds?!? lolšŸ˜…

  27. Team warm lights 1000%

  28. Warm light for where high pedestrians congregate.. cool lights for utility rooms

  29. Did you get stung by a bee?

  30. What are you using for the banner pop ups? And does the pixel show photos when no motion is detected from the camera?

  31. 15:47 candy dispenCer ? šŸ¤

  32. 6:31 screw Amazon, alexa, echo or other derivative products.

  33. WARM LIGHTS FTW

  34. I can help with the doors on your dishwasher do you have a p-o box?

  35. Is that a google hub ?

  36. My kids broke my dishwasher door too, and I also like to open to air dry, but I have a narrow galley kitchen. One of my kids holds the world record for flipping over the dishwasher, which is why it is broken lol. The solution I found to allowing it to air dry safely, is to put a piece of paracord with a hook on each end. Most dishwashers have a latch door closure it can hook onto, or slip a large loop around the whole door and use a carabiner or hook to secure it to the latch. It allows dishes to dry with the door ajar to your desired opening and limits circus acts in the kitchen lol

  37. For your dishwasher door issue, you know it's just a simple spring adjusment. Just pull out the unit and on the side you will find spring with usually different holes position to adjust the tension.
As for the lights, difinitely team warm here… šŸ˜‰

  38. From the looks of your microwave/oven I have the same or similar model with the same issue. It has a setting where you can have it get the time from WiFi instead of manually setting it and it fixed the fast clock.

  39. cool automation. Love it! There is something I like to ask you for Outdoor Smart Door Sensor, what do you Use for that? Thank you in advance! I am Using Homey Pro & Apple Hub for my hub

  40. I'm putting zooz switches (z-wave) for my whole house with Wiz bulbs and downlights.

Smart lights will be always powered, light switches trigger scenes depending on the time.

Unifi devices providing excellent IOT network

    Home Assistant ensuring local control

  41. Fantastic video. I love the how practical these automations are for both for newbies and experienced home geeks.

  42. Warm white

  43. Something your wife might like, a smart Sous Vide cooker. Basically you put food in a ziplock bag, put it in a pot of water and itā€™ll cook it to the exact temperature. No more overcooked or undercooked food.

  44. Reed. So I'm a HomeKit user but the tablet control panel is amazing. How about a short series taking us un-informed step by step from buying the tablet to having it up and running in our home – just like you showed it here? I mean, total baby steps. Great stuff

  45. team warm lights for life

  46. I love that automation for telling if the dishes are clean or not. Our dishwasher doesnā€™t have anything to tell you if itā€™s clean or not. But it does have a timer display. We just tell people if the timer is blinking itā€™s clean. The problem is when people accidentally turn it off
