I got a B580 in December for under $350… and honestly… i couldn't be happier, i mainly use the machine for photo&video editing and some light gaming at 1440p… and it works well not flawlessly but pretty great tbh and for $350 even on the used market it's hard to find something comparable

Really sucks Intel canceled the plans for higher end Battlemage cards. Now I wonder if they're going to spin off the graphics division with the new CEO. Hoping driver support for my B580 isn't going to be abandoned in the near future. So far it's been getting better with each update.
What i'm gathering is.. The b850 is a beast and if you can get it for 250/300 bucks usd it's areally good deal and you could go so far as using it in a budget 4k gaming setup if you wanted to go that route. I'm honestly impressed and can't wait to see what Intel does gpu wise in a few more years. Nvidia and AMD better watch there backs.

Tbf, none of the either from AMD or nvidia runs any of the games natively at 4k, not just intel.

You picked two people with 90 class cards to give b580s to. Neither one will choose to keep the b580 over a 90 class. If you had picked two people with 60 class cards, they would be more likely to keep them.

i saw people listing their RTX 3xxx series on FB marketplace with the picture of GPUZ and the rebar box is not checked, also i bought secondhand rtx 3070 and the vbios never been updated so im pretty sure the rebar never been enabled cause the vbios need to be updated for 3xxx series for the rebar to work

I watch your videos and don't know how to do any of that stuff bios or what ever I just enjoy watching tech stuff, if I have issues I just go to Microcenter
I downgraded from the 7900xtx to the intel arc b580. Wonderful choice. I dont regret it one bit.

I really hope they get stock back for Battlemage because I heavily recommended it for my mom to upgrade her PC and, at MSRP, it's perfect but she's not going to be spending $400 on a GPU.
But her PC is like 10 years old now and it's time for an upgrade. The problem is trying to upgrade the whole thing right now with GPU prices being how bad they are.
Forget ultimate tech upgrade, make way for moderate tech downgrade.
