When you first started building the space I immediately thought Dante audio networking would be a great fit! I choose to deploy MADI in my studio though as my options are flexible enough for my needs. My relatively low channel count didn't make Dante worth the extra costs and still limited product pool at the time I installed this.
As someone relatively new to the A/V field that is working on Dante certifications this made me excited to slightly know something niche in a LTT video! Awesome!

As someone who has worked with dante plenty in the past for worship sets at church, while sometimes we like to call dante stupid it still is verey very good

I understand on that stuff takes time for that to work and all of that other stuff
If Dan were to implement 802.1x on the switches with a radius server, the switch could be configured to allow plugging the devices into which ever switch port and the Radius server will tell the switch which VLAN that device should be placed on. Makes the whole thing very versatile and fool proof.

Are dynamic VLANs a thing you could use? Assign the correct VLAN to a port when a MAC address of your dongles is detected?
As someone who got introduced to tech stuff by LTT, has unhealthy level of interest in PC building/hardware stuff, and plays solely badminton for sport, I might have to move to Canada sometime in future lol
Dante is old. Your Q-sys file isn't pretty, and I'm sure you can clean it up. Watch your multicast bandwidth and flows. Use a PA Router and virtual page station to to "ducking" of music when announcements are made. Volume ramps are overall, use them with the PA router and you can do it only on BGM but not the announcements. Get a UCI built and have a TSC page station at the counter.

Hey Linus I had a question about upgrading my computer I have a asus motherboard with a CPU(AMD 8350 eight core processor) and my gpu is a NVIDIA GeForce Gtx 1060 6GB Bassically I’m wondering if I can upgrade without changing my motherboard to something more modern or am I better off buying a new setup I just don’t have the money to spend over $800-$2,000 please if you see my comment I would love to get your help on this
