I'm going to miss the XPS lineup name. It started as gaming laptops, then became premium laptops and now they're gone
Finally people are listing what consumers have to say. I love the fact that the high class laptops are not razor thin. I would like to have Dell Support Assistant not get started as soon as my windows starts but maybe they will fix that in 2028. Yay!

The branding names could still use some work — I don't really consider "Pro Max" a subjectively good name, but it's memorable and you isn't confusing.
"Premium" being a tier above "Plus" also doesn't sit right with me, maybe because I consider "premium products" to be entirely separate products instead of "same product but better".
But overall, it's a welcome change! Much, much, much better than what trends in the tech industry right now. Strealined, and straightforward.
But the real news should be the fact that Dell laptops becoming much more modular. A replaceable USB-C port and RAM sticks might be minor conveniences, but at least it's a step in the right direction WITHOUT taking two steps back.
Credit where credit's due: Dell got it right here.
The thing with the naming scheme is that it gets messy with a new model. Apple gets around it as its always Iphone XX Pro Max. The Dell has a number too but thats the screen size. So do we get a Dell Pro Max 2 13 Premium? or is it just going the Nintendo route of new Dell Pro Max 13 Premium? It doesnt yet make sense. For this one generation it is fine. But that ends.
Or tinfoil hat me would say it is this way to confuse people on purpose. You buy a Dell Pro Max 13 Premium or whatever and yet you dont really know if you get the latest model or not. Like AMD has done with their insane mobile cpu naming scheme.

They talked a total 1 minutes about the laptops most of us could actually afford. Ltt has been doing this lately and I find it annoying they aren't talking about the basic lower end models and only ever showcase really expensive models.
