Keeping my 1080Ti longer than I thought I would have to and my 1080p 144hz monitor,not paying more the price of a Console just for a GPU, £500 for a 70 series I would consider only.

5% to 10% OC is about standard with most GPU's today. gone are the days of having some cards get 20% out of an OC

734 pounds here if u dont count taxes is tuf. 682 pounds is msi . So its 100 usd more than msrp.

CCL computers today listed the ASUS 5070ti on launch £749. With a notify me when available button. That changed after 3mins of launch to product discontinued. Considering I have HotStock alert on it. I'm pretty sure they didn't even list one as I tried to buy it. The same product is now listed on there website for £999. The whole retail and GPU industry is taking the piss out of us

Was refreshing scan today from 13:58 to 14:10 as I did for the 5080 and the notify me button never changed. Once again the buy it button never showed up once on the page. So stupid. Probs a blessing as I wanted a 5080 really. My trusty 3080ti and 1440p monitor live on to see another generation I guess!
There's been no need to use max for like 8 years. There's not much difference in visual quality, and it runs way better by 20 fps or higher.
But the price!! I mean who can afford these things?
OC does quite a lot considering it goes from a 4080super match to just above it think it worth to buy high clocked models price dependent ofc ive seem some going for 999 and thats Insane but 799 isnt too bad

Unless every single 5070 available sold out in less than 20 seconds there never was any 5070 available today. I was online all morning with my double screen setup logged into Newegg Best Buy and Amazon. Needless to say I still haven’t even seen a 5070 posting that wasn’t already sold out. I smell a bunch of bull

Hey guys he's as frustrated as you not getting GPUS lol. I'm kidding, i cant do anything but laugh at the current state of PC gaming!
As of February 20, 2025 I tried looking up the 5070 TI on Amazon they were two models I think both gigabyte one was trying to sell for $1980 and the other one for just over two grand so then I thought what is a 5080 trying to sell for one was trying to sell for basically $2400 and the other one $2600 once again only two models if people would stop paying these stupid exorbitant prices from scalpers they wouldn’t do it also if in Nvidia actually had supply, this wouldn’t happen either, but that’s too folds of the problem and Lydia not supplying nowhere near enough and people paying scalper prices for cards that should never be close to that price Stop buying on people and things will get better. I promise if nobody bought a 50 series card they would fix the problem they would in video would make sure there’s plenty of supply next door around and scalpers wouldn’t be able to make a ton of money off of them and it wouldn’t take about one generation of everyone just not buying a damn thing to fix this problem
How much did you get out of the VRAM?
Well it was a "Tuf" decision, however, I will pass on this RTX 5060 Ti. Cos that's what it is in reality.
