naw the off white design is clean af.
As a fingertip mouse (not grip) this is bigger than what you're used to. We're talking true fingertip mice. Not palm mice that can use a fingertip style grip too
optimum really breaking the ice with this one.
I hope I get invited to the testing. These videos are just making me want this mouse more and more.

Intriguing prototype, not so sure it's for me though. If it isn't too expensive I might get one just for S's and G's to see what it's like. I used to use a G9 with weights and now I have a R.A.T. 8 with the full weight set in. As a counter point to using a heavy mouse I usually run 3200 dpi so small movements go a long way. Drives my kid nuts because he wants it to be 1600 or lower.
Sometimes I feel like we'd end up getting a mouse just strapped on our hands and just adjust at whatever position your fingers lay on and works whenever you wave your hands at a surface

It's a adead on arrival product. If you want an Ftip mouse, go for one. If you want an X2, buy an X2. A chopped up X2 makes for a too wide for precise Ftip and too small for X2 usage.

Got the Crazylight. Only thing I don't like is the battery life (even at 2k polling) and the opticals – would LOVE it if it had huano blue shells…..

40g ftip mouse is DOA. It’s competing with FM, Keychron, Darmoshark, WLMouse and going to be 150-200% heavier than G-wolves. It needs to be 25g otherwise even cutting a Crazylight in half is a better proposition.

We definitely needed a new FT mice while back
This just made me realize that the buttons are all wrong.
Without the mouse. Put your hand on the table. Where do your fingers go? straight down. The buttons should be on the front of the mouse. Not the top.
Also this design, I guess is the new thing with Optimum Tech creating the first version. Or making a refined version as you said these things might have been around for a while.
Personally I run a R.A.T. mouse with a lot of weight. The weight keeps the twitching down to a minimum. Where ultra light picks up too much of the subtle movements.
It should weigh somewhere between full sized and true fingertip mice, somewhere around 32g.
Finally, a mouse for Linus!
But no, really, this thing is dumb. I hate the super light mouse trend and the claw grip; this is like their inbred child.
Also, I feel like this could legitimately strain or cramp up your fingers.
42g is quite heavy for like 40% of the mouse missing ngl
