After having to speak to Dell customer support over the past year, I've never felt that phone support was particularly helpful. However, what specifically felt incredibly unhelpful was the fact that they do not have email support, they have live chat via whatsapp but the service agents seem to constantly change without saying anything to you and when a chat becomes several weeks or months old as mine has much of the information is lost which just makes the whole process a sanity grind.
HMD is literally right across the street from Nokia HQ, founded by close friends of Nokia and several of Nokia's mobile division workers joined them after they bought the rights to Nokia's mobile backlog(and name)
They were making Nokia phones from 2020 onward and then finally switched to calling their handsets HMD to separate themselves from Nokia's old handlines.
They are firmly in the budget middle ground and havent put much effort into making a flagship but they HAVE started integrating old Nokia lumia designs into their phones recently

To be fair to china I think each country should keep its users data, not in the sense the government can access it, in the sense that uk citizens data should be stored in the uk.

Linus is definitely missing the point with the iphone SE, despite how good VFM it is, a phone that costs this much was never what the iphone SE was. The average iphone SE user wouldn't know what SOC was in their phone (or even what an SOC is) they wouldn't care either. they just want iOS without paying stupid amounts of money for it. this price tag will remove a lot of those customers and send them to alternatives like Samsung who can offer options at 1/3 the price that are quite capable phones.
Nividia knows what they are doing, they are artificially creating scarcity to push up prices, they realised this at the start of the crypto/covid time that the less cards available the more some people will pay, and the greater the profits, they know exactly what they are doing. Sadly people are willing to pay stupid amounts for these cards which is the only reason they are so stupidly expensive now in any case.

Problems:
Contacts re-rendering
iPhone first party buttons not working, following a screen transition.
Keyboard keypad not appearing on Dialer (phone primary use)
Keyboard not appearing in other apps.
These problems exist on iPhone 11-16, on IOS 17 – 18, tested on all models in stores.
Apples fix policy is to pretest screen issues with their aweful calibration app, with big bulky squares (pointless) and has to finish completely at which point the calibration tool says success (no fault)
This results in them saying No Fault found.
SO the Apple Store reps then takes your phone and snaps the screen in 2 peices so you can get a replacement handset, which does not fix the issue.
The problem is this disquises the issue within internal Apple processes, meaning they do not know of screen issues.

1:42.55 hey Dan are you using OBS? Noticing the split screen view doesn't have the virtual remote Luke. Just caught my attention thinking if I were doing this I'm using OBS there's probably ways on other things. I would create a scene and then put that into the split screen view. So that whatever is updated in that scene is updated in the split screen. Like say a virtual camera. Although I know this is probably something that hasn't really come up that much the scene probably just has the camera angle overlaid.
