Amazing Products TV AMD wants HOW MUCH for 1080p Gaming?? – Radeon RX 6600 XT Review

Comments

  1. Some corrections to the part from 2:583:20

No, a C-C cable does not need any resistors to work properly, but it'll need a fifth wire, the CC wire, needed for assigning power and data roles and power levels.

The part of the spec you've shown, with the 5.1 kΩ resistors is not for cables, but for receptacles: Any USB-C port intended for recieving power will need two 5.1kΩ resistors, so it'll be correctly identified as a power sink.

And an A-C cable. like you've created. actually needs a resistor; a 56kΩ resistor between one of the CC pins and Vbus to operate properly – I hope for you that the used breakout board already had that resistor installed, these kind of boards usually do.

  2. Cant you Multimeter each end of the cable to determine which ends match to make your pinout out diagram

  3. alex looks like he is in his natural habitat

  4. shouldve tied the cable to the end of the cord when u pulled it our

  5. I do all the time, mostly usb cables, some hdmi splicing, some ethernet splicing, sometimes even splitting sata power cables

  6. this is a very joyful episode

  7. i think they some inspiration in the Japanese entertainment 10:23 lol

  8. So there's a lot of third-party companies and non known sellers that replicate even particular cables like the 3DS usb cables. They are not done by Nintendo, yet these cable do just fine, carge proper and or better even data transfering between computer and 3DS.
The point is… uow can I get my hands on the blueprint of making my own 3DS usb outlet plug thingie by myself, I can't find it nowhere and those unlicensed companies that make thirdparty stuff do it just like its nothing, the Wii U's gamepad too but not so much due its poor popularity. Hardly no one talks about this or other weird handheld console usb cable heads… like the 3DS, Wii U, GBA SP, PSP, THE PS Vita weird wide plug.
Some of these usb cable accessories come as just a plug as an adapter to plug in a micro usb type-a or type-b and lately even type-c (rarely ever found, got one for me 3ds), they go so far to make accessories out of the usb heads, even with or without cables. How can we get to this point ? And also replicating seamlessly the usb heads of rare devices ?

  9. I miss Emily. I hope she can return to hosting again one day.

  10. Making cables while watching this

  11. No

  12. PSU cables are like seahorses, got it.

  13. We need 2nd part with a little more tests and better resoults

  14. Ugly ass diy cables ❤

  15. Petg sleeve is SOOOO much easier to insert a cable than paracord

  16. 1:10 wtf is a chummy

  17. You know, I'm so used to hearing Linus shitting on the Gskill Royals that I was thrown completely off when hearing the sponsor spot

  18. Ik this is a year old but your teleprompter is too far to the side

  19. Why is Anthony on the thumbnail, where he is??

  20. I have made many USB cables myself , trust me its not worthy to invest such man hours and get a lousy cable, because anyway you cannot achieve industry standards at home, let alone the cables are so cheap these days.

  21. Anthony is a gem. I love his segments.

  22. They're testing it wrong!
If you only test connector A with A, B with B, C with C and so on you'll never find a shortage between A and B or A and C.

Always hold one pin on one site (A) and test all others (A B C) on the other side. Only A should give a signal. Now with B and A B C and so on.
Yes,you can skip A when you're testing B, so you only could check B with B C, but you'll mess it up at some point. 😅

  23. I'll make my own network cables, as I used to do it for work all the time, but anything else? nah

  24. Has anyone got the pcie connector he uses in the video ?

  25. When you pulled that core out of the paracord, seems like you could have bound the end of your cable to one end so as you pulled that through it would have simultaneously pulled the cable through the sheath.

  26. It doesn't fucking matter.

  27. Didn't watch, but no you shouldn't.

  28. where do i buy the usb 2.0 cable spool?

  29. Data electrician tip- CA glue the end of your USB wiring to the white banding of your paracord and pull it through.

  30. Where di you get the tech flex? I am always looking for some, here in europe

  31. 13:4813:56
omg you just created the smallest particle accelerator in the world

  32. To answer the question of the title: NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT, NO REALLY ….DONT. …It's just yet another way you can cause a major accident, and you won't be insured for those accidents either.

  33. I don't think that is proper heat gun safety….

  34. Tbh i was expecting a cablemod sponsor for some reason.

  35. 2:38 ewwwwwwwwww the frame rate. The stutter kinda makes me sick

  36. Ethernet cables no problem but other's just buy them

  37. In Anthony's part, isn't it way easier to apply the sleeve first, then cut to size?

  38. I'd still put a tiny bit of solder on those pins even after crimping just to make sure it stays put and to ensure you've got a good connection even if it didn't quite get good contact from crimping.
