  1. So what do you think? Are robots with arms the future?

Roborock Saros Z70 on sale now for $1,999. Pre-order here: https://bit.ly/3RqzDDJ
    (limited quantities available)

  2. I'm reminded of the skutters from show red dwarf

  3. Been using it for a month. It ain't that smart. I had a few instances that the arm got jammed by a sock that landed on the robot instead of the bin. I believe it's still in beta testing.

  4. We can all live the "Fifth Element" robot cleaner life now lol

  5. This is insane. I have to get me one of those.

  6. Wow your kids are never going to learn how to pick up after themselves if the robot is always doing it!

  7. That manual mode seems like so much more work than just walking over and picking up the items in the way.

  8. Is this is local processing or is data being sent out?

  9. This is how the robot uprising starts

  10. I'm looking forward to the future; an arm that's strong enough to lift the robot up stairs and of course, open the mini fridge and bring me a beer 🍺

  11. if they release an update where it can bring me a beer im buying 10 of them

  12. The Manual reminds me of the Home Improvement Super Nintendo game manual where the only thing it has written in it is “REAL MEN DONT NEED INSTRUCTIONS”

  13. Plus roborock has a proven track record of fine tuning, fixing, updating stuff. AND … one of the few vacs with a published API. Mine are integrated to Hubitat AND Home Assistant. Being able to execute home automations with the vac (like cleaning when you are gone, or schedules that are more complicated , etc – is great. Give this some time it will be good.

  14. This is how you do a sponsorship: perfect target market (everyone’s coveting this rn lol) and you have liberty of saying the bad stuff too.

  15. Can’t wait to get one

  16. good job roborock. i like this design

  17. Oh no way! Something from CES that won't end up only as a concept and will be a full product instead? Neat!

  18. 17TH COMMENT

  19. Thanks Reed.

  20. Looks like it's more of a gimmick than it is a game changer

  21. Can the Roborock Saros Z70 pick up chicks?

  22. Amazing tech.
However, until a robot vacuum can effectively climb and descend stairs, these are sadly useless to me.

  23. Seriously, I can't wait for it to be able to sort socks, shoes, and garbage.

  24. Can’t wait to actually test this. Hope to get one soon

  25. It's the claw! You scared of the claw!!

  26. 8th comment 🙂

  27. these kinda robots only seem to work for people with a really big house, this would barely be able to do anything in my place because it would have very little room to navigate. might even get stuck between chairs etc

  28. Hey Reed . I just want to say thank you for helping me build my dream smart home !

  29. Wow this is just super cool Reed!

  30. You’re the first to review this vacuum, I think
