I have a 3060 12gb and a 5600g right now and was wondering what would be a good upgrade for both parts if I’m aiming to play at 1440p
my rig cost 3100 mate 5070 ti ryzen 9 9950x x870 4tb 1250w 64 ddr5 did i do too much haha
Opinion on Asus CPU coolers? Reliable or cooler master quality?
I am planning my first build out right now in a fractal terra – hoping I can pick up at least some storage fairly cheap in prime day deals!
Built my PC with Lian Li Lancool 207 white case, MSI MAG GL 850W PSU, AsRock B850 Steel Legend Wi-Fi, AsRock RX 9070XT, Ryzen 9800X3D, Deepcool LS 720Se white Aio, MSI 2TB PCIe 4 Nvme and Adata XPG Lancer 32GB 6000MHz 30Cl RAM. Cost around the same as your high end build and performs great on 1440p ultrawide monitor.
And I totally agree that more expensive graphics card would be worth considering only if I wanted to get very high frame rates playing the worst optimized games at max settings on a 4k monitor but 1440p ultrawide is the way to go in my opinion.
the difference in prces is insane. for the same high tier build in the video i need to pay 3k+ dollars in my country
Will an Asus tuf b650 motherboard work on the 9070xt?
I am looking to build my first pc as my old one is on its very last leg. The new graphics card rx 9060 xt when is that out? And how could I go about getting one I cant see them for pre order any were.
Marcus, what influences your choice between the 9700xt and 5070ti? Planning a build for my son, but there seems to be a lot of negative press around team green’s 5000 cards
What do u think of the B grade items on overclockers?
Doing my first pc build next month , going for a ryzen 5 9600x and a RX 7800xt . I’m an occasional / casual gamer so i willbe happy with this .
Upgrading from a 4070 and Ryzen 7 7700x to a 5090 and Ryzen 9 9950x3D build 🙌🏼
With my spare parts/selling spare parts from the build, going to build a mini ITX for my partner.
Really excited to play PC games together without being forced to play co-op as sadly the industry doesn't respect that part of gaming anymore. 🥺
No timestamps?
Please shed some light i am worried that it might not be what i think it should be for the cost so far 2.9 k euros
is this good Gigabyte X870E AORUS PRO ICE, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 4.2 GHz, ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB AMP Extreme INFINITY, Kingston Fury Beast, DDR5, 32 GB, 6000 MHz, CL30, SSD Samsung 990 PRO, 2TB M.2 2280, Be quiet! Dark Rock 5, Be quiet Pure 12M 1000W, Nzxt H7 Flow RGB
Right now im building a 9800x3d / asus 5070 ti oc / x870e-e mb with 64gb ddr5 6000 , a corsair hx1200i , 2 tb ssd and arctic iii 360 pro aio in a lian li 216 case
I used to build systems back in the day. But i dont want to anymore. Can you suggest a complete pc that is worth it ? Maybe one in each category – entry-mid- high thx
I just recently build in the Black Lian Li with Wood panel using these specs as a pseudo-gaming console:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Montech Hyperflow Silent 360
Asus TUF B850M Plus WiFi
G. Skill X5 32GB CL36 6000MT/s
1 TB WD Black 850X NVMe (Bazzite OS)
Asus TUF RX 9070 XT
Corsair SF1000 (2024)
Montech 120mm Metal 120 Fan (Rear)
Im looking at upgrading my 5700x later this year, thinking of a 7900x or something with a few more cores, as i cant seem to properly play newer games and watch stuff on my 4k tv at the same time anymore, which sucks
Marcus, would you say the 9800x3d or 7800x3d would be useful f9r the 4070ti from a i7-12700k? Or better off selling the 4070ti and getting like a 9070xt? Im wanting to upgrade but I'm not sure which one to do. I'd have to get a new mobo if I did the x3d
getting a ✈ ticket to the UK and getting a GPU is still cheaper than ordering one from the states/amazon, that's crazy
B850 MoBo for the mid build seems unnecessary, surely b650 would be sufficient
As SOON as I saw 9060xt…..I am like OH FREAKING NO….this is an entry level build, hardly anywhere near perfect! LOL
Dude…..QUALITY OVER QUANITY……just back off on the videos if you have nothing good!?
Just because it's there….does not mean pick it up!
This advice also works very well in war on the battlefield too !
Leave it alone !
Massive fan and love your videos. My only pointless personal opinion gripe lol, is your air cooler choice for your lower end build and perhaps higher end as you mentioned tuning the fans etc. For the same price you can get a Thermalright Assassin non or RGB which is a duel 120mm air cooler that is easy to install, silent running, and keeps everything cool, used for multiple builds (higher end and low) 🙂
My rig is a 7600x, 5070 ti Gaming Trio, 32 GB 6000mhz cl 30 DDR5, Be Quiet! 850 Watt PSU, B650E-F Rog Mobo, and 3TB total of m.2 ssd storage, 1440p is what im staying at and its doing everything great
Nvidia is dog now adays
I just built my first gaming PC this week with a 9700X and a 9070XT, with a total cost of $2,947 Aud ($ 1,886 usd). I'm getting over 100 FPS in MH: Wilds with full Ray Tracing enabled and no Upscaling at 1440p (my monitor is a 1440p display). Thank you for all the guidance you provided, just as you did in this video.
Is there still problems with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D running with certain motherboards if so which X870E motherboard would you use that won't cause any problems with the CPU mentioned and a RTX 5080
Nvidia glazer
Got a 5070ti for $800 and couldn’t be happier. Truly is the best GPU for the price when it comes to maxed out settings at 1440p. My total rig was $3k, but I overspent in some features to try and future proof it. If you can get a 5070ti for a reasonable price you will not be disappointed!!!!
long story short if you want solid 1080-1440p get a 9060xt if its 4k you want get a 9070xt
It's 4am,but PC Centric posted!
