Sad to See AMD succumb to greed, soon innovation will start lacking and the graphical jump we've seen in the past that is already late now behind schedule will just worsen. Pretty much like space exploration and moon missions during the cold war. Not a single human ever since went back to excavate the moon while we could've don't this shit back in the cold war. They just don't wanna bother and go for the easy money. Not the innovation side that comes with actual technological progress through ambitious exercise. Very sad to see this limbo civilization is into right now, and it will only get worse most likely.

Uhm 8 Gb is not enough for now. 16 Gb is not future proofing, it's now. I'm on 1080p, already had 3 games that needed 12 Gb, everything High except Texture Quality on Low. had to play on Medium (Texture still at lowest settings) at 50-60% GPU usage or else not enough video memory. Had at least 5 other games needing 8 Gb instead of 6 Gb, had to downgrade from a 6 Gb RTX 2060 to an 8 Gb RX 480 just to play them at higher settings but that's fine on the RTX 2060 GPU usage didn't go past 70% anyways.
8:44 – Stooop with the H.264/AVC, it's a legacy format. At the very least talk about H.265/HEVC performance instead.
What's next, a performance chart on the FireWire performance of a motherboard?
The last two GPUs I bought for friends have been Intel's B580. Thanks AMD for confirming I did the right thing.
with intel everything was fine linus, but when real competition is there and amd brings out the best low end card you go crash out because of marketing. slime crook.

I wanted to build a new pc. Upgrading from my gtx 1650 laptop. Nvidia didnt feel like value to me. Rx 7800xt seemed to be the best value for 1440p. But, i thought i would wait for an equivalent in the 9000 series. But no, my choices are a way more expensive 9070 or a 1080p 9060xt. Where is the range?

Whats the best cpu to pair with a rx6800
please if you see this explain the black screen issue. ive had it for years and have only ever fixed it by undervolting the gpu by 10-20% please help i7 9700f, msi z390 mobo, msi radeon rx 5700xt gaming x ofc, 16gb of ram idk wat it is but ive tested it and its not dead. the mobo is compatible, the cpu claims to be compatible but only with an older bios which i've installed and setup. so far after years of diagnostics the undervolting of the gpu is the only fix. im assuming the psu is dead or to weak because its 750w like white label or something shitty. not gold and not more than 750w. p.s i know the cpu is a bottleneck but it shouldnt cause blackscreen crash/restart with no error

AMD really saw the PR disaster with the 5060 Ti and was like, "Let's try that."
A vicious circle where manufacturers see that people play in 1080p and make cards for 1080p, and we want 1440p but there is no opportunity, because for reasonable money they only make cards for 1080p
How about creating a 8gb ramdisk on vram, there you have the 8gb GPU
if you gave on 1080p 8gb is enough, you dont need ultra mega giga details, lower one step down and you will be fine in every single game.

Don't bother with the 9060 xt just save up the extra get the 9070 instead it's a good card
