  1. Still going to stay on my aw3418dw

  2. I am building a pc here in the near future and i don't know what to get (RTX 3080 12GB or RX 6900XT). They are almost the same price on jawa, but I am so far out of the loop on gpus nowadays I could really use some help.

  3. I have been in the market for a new desktop now since last fall since my current desktop is from when NVIDIA was releasing their GTX 900 series. I started with the GTX 980 then upgraded to a Titan. It has served me very well since the fall of either 2013 or 2014, I am foggy on the date, I just know for a fact that it is over ten years old now. It is a ASUS ROG prebuilt and out of all the years I have owned it, the only major issue it has ever had was the AIO cooler for the CPU dying a year ago and needing to be replaced. Knock on wood, to hopefully not jinx my luck with this old desktop.

I was considering an Alienware Desktop specifically the Area 51 model since it is not all proprietary parts now and you can use what ever third party parts in their case now. But if you want your third party mother board to work perfectly with that Alienware case you need to buy a $45 CAD wire conversion kit, and that is just to allow the third party board to interact with the Alienware case just like the mother board that originally came with it. But they has so many downsides to their desktop customization such as the lack of options for RAM, CPU, Storage, and GPU type. I almost pushed the buy button on their Area 51 model with the RTX 5090 and their second to most expensive storage option that has a GEN 5 SSD and a GEN 4 SSD, when I and anted two GEN 5s, the only options for Ram are 32 GB or 64 GB. But with that all said you can get a pretty good price right now for that build and two of their 32 inch OLED 4K monitors or their 34 inch ones. One of those two monitor sizes is on sale right now. While Alienwareโ€™s desktop build leave a lot left to be desired especially if you want to get a Ryzen 9 9950X3D CPU. So I have decided to buy all that I want from NewEgg mostly and put it all together myself. But because how good Alienware monitors are known to be and the bunch of rewards they keep getting I may still get two of them for my new setup. Not sure yet, either two monitors or one large 49 inch one. 49 inch is the largest monitor size out there right now I believe and if you want any larger you need to get a TV.

With that all said. Great video bud, thanks for the information. Cheers!!!

  4. Hahaha, when you said time for talk is over it went to an ad (an Australian Ad about Queensland) that said "if you took a holiday".

  5. I 100% in HDR my older aw3423dwf was brighter and it looked better l, I just got the aw3425dw and it is worse than my dwf, I am selling my dwf that being said there is no firmware update for the aw3425dw, so dell has to release a firmware update to fix this, I cant believe the old monitor looked better

  6. Your favourite catch phrase ladies and gentlemen ๐Ÿ˜‚

  7. 38 inch 3840×1600 wen!

  8. Still love you Marcus. Especially the monitor videos (remember when you went did the first look at the first 4k HDR Asus monitor 6 years ago. Back then they were saying there would never be OLED monitors. How far we have come).

  9. I have the LCD version, still love it! Paid 1500 US 7 years ago. No regrets. I plan on upgrading soon, this may be it.

  10. Just installed this monitor, never used a oled monitor before. Its a different world sheeshhhh.

    A beast of a thing!

  11. please review again that aw3225qf sir, i just confused whats good for aw3225qf 4K or aw3425dw 2K, bcoz i like the 34inch size but i like the 4K resolution too lmao

  12. Crazy to complain about HDR they all do the same

  13. So whats better the new msi oled or aliens oled?been thinking about buying the msi 240 oled.

  14. Iโ€™m finally at the point where my next set up upgrade is going to be my monitor and I plan on going with 1440p ultrawide oled. Just got the 5070 and with my 11900 Iโ€™m maxing out my 165hz 32in 1440p on high/ultra settings. This thing would be great.

  15. That blue is so ugly! Easy pass…

  16. Got mine two days ago, it's beautiful using it as a second display.

  17. I just bought the older one (Alienware AW3423DWF 34 inch) last Monday ๐Ÿ’€

  18. its tilted to the right?

  19. lol, you need a newer calibration tool that supports HDR. (I have SpyderX Pro too)

  20. Not gonna lie, this is a great screen. The more trees you can see on your way to 99 WC in Runescape, all ultra – the better.

  21. Does enabling HDR also enable a wider color gamut than what SDR gives you?

  22. You can get MSI 341CQPX for the same panel, more features, at a discounted price.

  23. Monitor vendors have kilohertz phillia but dp2.1 phobia. ๐Ÿ˜…

  24. we want a 4k ultra wide……… and why the hell is this blue.

  25. should I get this monitor or the 32 inch alienware QD-OLED 4k 240hz, the build is a 9800x3d, 5080, 96gb of RAM, 4tb nvme,

  26. 3rd

  27. so, hows the VRR flicker on this?

  28. First
