I used to build PCs as a hobby years ago, so when a couple of my friends asked if I could build their PCs I agreed, but little did I know that they both picked a lot of RGB components, and I have zero idea how to hook that stuff up properly, so both of them just had to deal with fans being one colour lol
I mean, I built my first ever PC a week or two ago and everything has RGB except the mobo, CPU, and SSD. it isn’t that hard, just daisy chain the ARGB cords, no?
Water cooling though, yea I’m never going beyond an AIO. I’m TERRIFIED of something leaking somewhere and ruining the whole build
Yep, spending too much on cosmetic improvements, especially if they're on a tight budget. You don't need those fancy RGB fans when you can pay a fraction and get the same performance.
Yall shouting "water cooling water cooling", thise days a basic 240 water coolig is the same price as a fan cooling. 2 benefits – fan cooling is heavier on the motherboard structure if you buy "high end", it is noticeable lower temps under load. I dont get all those purists, build what ever you want with what ever you got, stop pushing agendas
My PC has no RGB at all, and no fancy cooler. All it has is a traditional air cooler. It works perfectly fine for what I use it for (UNIX software development)
meth
I was thinking custom loop. This should be the real answer. RGB isn't that big of a commitment
I thought watercooling 😂
i would have said tschernobyl but okay
Wow a sponsored shorts
If you don’t have excess budget for your Webcam, checkout this Webcam.
Going down the performance fan rabbit hole aka airflow
Most things have rgb today, fans, keyboards, mice. Its pretty easy and sometimes cheaper to get budget rgb parts.
Water cooling, besides an AIO for the CPU, that at least is a closed loop
Building a SFF pc
I try to keep my pc case as long as possible

He really fit the sponsor into a short lol
I hate rgb
RGB give you a 10% performance boost, why are you lying to us Linus?

RGB has always been a no no on my builds…RFB is for kids or people that have sensory needs…
i thought you were gonna say cable management ðŸ˜

I see water cooling and still rgb too…
I was gonna just say prebuilds.
I would say water cooling and ITX builds
rgb is way easier than water cooling
