While Nintendo keeps being greedy, shoutouts to 8bitdo, the Ultimate 2C Controller works like a charm. Update the firmware, and it just works on switch 2. 30 bucks, and it even has gyro, an alright DPad, very nice buttons, and – the kicker IMO – PROPER sticks. No drift here.

i 1000% agree with Discord being a Terrible way to store info.
Hell i've had KCS training which is just an explaination for how work a Servicedesk in a way to not get employees bogged down with the same 5 questions 10billion times. and instead build a Self-service Database of solutions to frequent issues. which in a way a public wiki or something alike could be.
instead of what i get with most Linux Distro's and Emudeck, custom phone roms they all basically say have issues ask for help in our Discord where the answer to your problems dissapears again in a text channel that gets used constantly.
The OneDrive shit / Microsoft sign in shit is a real pain – that's why I never sign in to OneDrive. Same for other cloud things – I put a load of video files into my Mac's Documents folder to edit them. Icloud synced them and filled my icloud storage. I deleted the files from icloud and boom, my Local Work Was Deleted. Cloud sync systems are bloody annoying.

What is this nonsensical Edge protocol that I can't open it in Firefox, my password manager is linked to Firefox so when I click to sign into autodesk and it opens in Edge, I need to manually find my credential aaaahh

I have to admit that many features in Windows 11 is absolutely garbage.. I work with Microsoft every single day, and it is a god damn pain to see how SLOW Windows 11 is.. Yes it boots fast perhaps. but the whole UI is sluggish, buggy and the new control panel (Settings)? What the f***
Windows 10 was so good in many ways, and the windows 7 search, godlike. Implementing Copilot or Ai and then forcing you to have a Microsoft account to do anything is just pure idiotic
Regarding backups – Time Machine in macOS is outstandingly good. It does incredible job of automatically backing up to a local network drive and a USB drive. Version history is also clear and understandable. And when it comes to restoring the data, everything is restored. Heck, even brew and other stuff I installed in terminal comes through that.
Time Machine makes backups easy, restoring them even easier. This it the reason I want to switch to Mac back again.

I solved my "games spilling up contents all over your drives" issue with sandboxie in windows and bottles on linux, now i just backup one folder between reinstalls and my saves and mods stay the same, the sand boxing and network control are also a nice plus.

All our clients, when they finally grow a spine and use 365 as online only and stop trying to have thousands of printers everywhere get real quiet because things just work and everything is stored in data centers. When people actually know how to use AI for their jobs, they get real effective really fast. So much about my job could just die in a fire if people could adopt better business practices and let IT work for them rather than see it as a cost to be marginalized…until something breaks and then they blame IT. People. Ruin. Everything.

David, you missed the Save Games no longer belong to you thing with the Switch. Good luck if you need to repair it, you will lose everything. Previously, you had the cartridge or memory sticks. At most, you lose a game. Now you lose all.
Nintendo continues to trample over their customers. At what point do you STOP BUYING THEIR PRODUCTS.
I will never buy switch exactly for this reason especially the cost of games, games are supposed to be entertainment and time off from stress, connect with friends. For these prices I am now more motivated to go out and have vacation and eat good food with friends and still save money.

The case issue not having valid choices for having the PC on the left hits me hard.
Also small cases that have the motherboard on the bottom horizontally, so gravity isn't working against the parts.
i think the thing thats pissing me off is hidden ui functionality. you do not need to hide functionality on a 4k screen because its a 4k screen and there are plenty of places to put buttons. its not a phone, keep phone interfaces on phones where they belong.
