i had the first generation threadripper on my home office work computer, loved that thing! The company security department went nuts when they saw the specs of the computer hooked up to the network and thought something was wrong, "how does it say you have 16 cores" back then it was insane.

I want to start seeing ue5 compile times on these builds. 7950x does it in about 30mins and Intel 10thgen is about 3hours.
If AMD can come back swinging with a Ryzen line Intel can do the same. I just think it won’t be called Core ULTRA. 😆

Why is this being compared to intel's sapphire rapids from 2023 and not something in the granite rapids line?
Even stuff in the same price has more cores, more PCIE, higher speed ram with more channels, their are some with more L3 cache and same 350 watts… and have been out for almost a year now… there has been 2 generations since the w9 3595x
