My problem isn't the recommendations of member only videos, but the fact that I pay for premium and most of my feed is *only* member only videos, not just for LTT but other creators too. If I wanted ads, I wouldn't pay for premium. YT should stick to recommending videos to members or just have 1 or 2 member only videos recommended when already watching an LTT video. Our feeds shouldn't be clogged with content we can't watch…

are there free videos on floatplane? i'd rather go to your page instead of youtube for tech videos. whie we are here. youtube shorts suck. i dont want to watch short content on my laptop.

especially on reaction channels. like by the time the video is posted for non members it's like sometimes 3 weeks after

As a Premium holder, do non-premium holders see double ads? I just skip through the sponsorship, do non-premium holders not have this ability? Does that mean non-premium holders see channel owned sponsor ads + YouTube ads?

The bigest YT problem is promotion scamers ads. They take dirty money from fake corp and show scam is they washing dirty money? Its always under lagal names

Youtube has become really depressing. I've been paying for Youtube Premium since day 1 so I could ditch adblock and support content creators that way. But since then my plan has more than doubled, every single youtube video is filled with ads and sponsors directly integreted by the creators (it used to be only really big channels), and now my youtube feed is starting to look like a mobile game with paywalled stuff everywhere. This is bullshit

Could you not make members only videos unlisted and put them in a playlist? That would stop them being shown on the front page, etc without removing member access to them completely.

Thank you I often go back and watch videos I've missed and scrolling past members only has been hassle.

While there is no button to turn off "local regional audio" not even for the premium users. and I have to manually change to hear the original audio for every video.

It's genuinely terrible. I no longer come by the channel to check for videos that I might like. As in, since I'm selective of the videos I watch from LTT because my tastes have changed, and coming to find some interesting vids on the "videos" tab, only to be met by a wall of "Member's Only" is infuriating. So I stopped coming by. I don't check at all anymore. Paid content should have it's own tab, 100%. Other platforms do this already, whether it's facebook or instagram. If anything, give either creators or viewers the option to enable the paid tab, disable these paid videos from showing up on the regular "videos" tab. That just seems like a customizability thing to me. Some viewers might enjoy having it all in one tab, some won't. Regardless if they're already a member or not. A toggle is nice!

IMO it's silly to blame the channel over a youtube change, and it's silly to take so much responsibility for it. The people saying it's killing their interest now understand why stuff like floatplane exists. If it bothers them so much, move.

Cause if it's not LTT, another channels members only videos will show there. Nothing changes but a few less channels having members only stuff.

I didn't know you had more videos on the videos tab on youtube.
