Comments

  1. Intel has been trash for gaming compared to AMD for the last 8 years…keep wasting your money on Intel's garbage where you have to buy a new MB and new cooler sometimes…SMH

  2. Was an early adopter of the Core Ultra 9 285k, for content creation and gaming its been exceptional, and improved with various BIOS updates, in VR performance with high resolution VR headsets again equally no issues.

Having migrated from a 14900k performance is no worse but stability and reliability have both been spot on which for me is hugely important.

Paired with the 5090 have had no complaints with 48gb Corsair 8400 m/t CUDIMM ram.

  3. intel did this to themselves with over a decade of quad core stagnation, allowing AMD time to catch up to them.

  4. my 265k blasted every game i played with ease and it was cheap so what's the problem?

  5. 3D cache is too good. Intel lost.

  6. I just bought an entirely new pc and I went with the 5070ti and 7800x3d. I’ve been team red for a while now and it’s going to take a lot for intel to win me over.

  7. So recently computer parts for people have been a disaster. Intel is Radeon of the CPU market and Radeon is the Intel of the Graphics market. Gamer's both want each of them to put forth more of an effort and to actually create competition with their counterparts but it seems like they are more interested in torpedoing their own companies then to actually put forth a proper product that isn't a giant pile of trash. I know I currently have bought all of the components that I need for a computer and have done what many have done which is AMD on the CPU and Nvidia on the GPU because flat out they while the value simply isn't there the product quality, features and longevity simply surpass the current value degradation. Honestly the entire gaming market feels like it is days away from completely collapsing. With the moves from Xbox recently down to Nintendo's ridiculous lawsuits.

  8. CCP did ruin Intel in china.

  9. My 13900k trades blows with with the 7800x3d, and the 13900k has more overclocking headroom, I'm not really sure what you are on about except for the fact that 14 series and core ultra are kinda trash, but I've had years of good gaming performance from the 13900k and when intel actually releases something desktop that beats it, I'll upgrade. (after years of good performance and it'll be a regular upgrade cycle)

  10. Lol AMD was good back in the early 2000s they were the leaders in CPU technology AMD64 beat intel back 25 years ago buddy they have always made better CPU's Even intel used to get AMD to do their X86 chips because AMD was better. K6 AMD CPU was legendary. Intel is dead it's for the best what they did to IBM, they deserve it. Stuff intel Garbage, they are better off trying to stick to the GPU market.

  11. Still running an 11700KF, 32 GB DDR4 and a 3060 12GB.
Then again, all I play is Assetto Corsa with Content Manager.
    And at 1080p.

  12. The issue is you may of course overclock intel cpus to match the x3d chips but you will never get the price to performance and watt ratio that AMD provides.

  13. I have a pc that I share with my siblings but Im planning on building one for myself. My old one had a r5 7600 and Im wondering if I should get the i7 12700kf since i dont want to spend too much on the cpu

  14. I'm all for Intel. I couldn't care less if AMD is a bit faster.

  15. The 11900k really didn't have better gaming performance than the 10900k. The 10900k and 11900k gaming performance was basically identical.

12900k imo was the last good Intel CPU. Significant gaming performance boost over 11th Gen, finally got off 14 nm process, and the asymmetrical core architecture actually did a great job of letting you game and be productive without too much of a hit to performance. My main gripe with AMD is that if I want to game while my PC is transcoding a video or something it's going to be rough because gaming parks the second CCD whereas on my 13900k it wouldn't have any issues. Too bad my 13900k went unstable.

Now I'm using 2 PCs: 9800X3D for gaming and the 13900k with a heavy underclock to keep it stable for productivity, although I just bought my old 12900k from my brother when he upgraded that's about to go back into my system and replace the 13900k that's down to 5.2 GHz now. The 12900k can do 5.2 no problem without having to worry about it getting any worse.

  16. Only an Idiots buy Intel

  17. Never

  18. 3:12 Actually this wasn't the first AMD-CPU to beat Intel in Gaming. Remember the old Athlon-K7-Days and also early to mid 2000s?

  19. PC Centric my 13700k died now i need a new cpu what should i get 12 th gen or 14th gen ?

  20. I just got the Ultra 9 285k and build my computer yestarday

  21. Still using 12700k, great cpu, temps barely pass 50 celsius during gaming. Looking forward to hopefully seeing some competition between amd and intel in 2028-2029 which is when i'll probably upgrade next. Not a huge priority atm since I play on 4k.

  22. The main issue is socket commitment. AMD commits to a long term relationship. Intel gets into another relationship every year.

  23. 285k beats my 9950x3d at 1440p and 4k. The duel ccd chips are a scam but you don’t see dorks like this guy telling people. Wanna play games and stream at the same time? These tech tubers will say “PICK THE 9950X3D!” Yet what they don’t tell you after they lie about and fixing the core parking bullshit is that when you launch a game it parks the non cache CCD. Do you know what that means? OBS and whatever programs you have running in the background get pushed onto the cache ccd……wanna know how to fix this? Project lasso! Something all these techtubers said “you don’t need project lasso anymore” yeah that’s total bullshit. It’s a scam man

  24. 1440p+ and 285k kills my 9950x3d and I regret my choice. The 9950 is a fucking scam. Why won’t you techtubers talk about it???

  25. Their cpu's still work really good, i don't know what your on about. I always buy Intel cpu's.

  26. Idk

  27. Speaking to longevity I still have a 4th Gen i7 and a 7th Gen i7 that are trucking along just fine

  28. crippling the performance of Intel 200S with your crappy 6000MT/s RAM kit is why you got suck shitty scores vs 14th gen
200S scales very well with RAM speed – just like Ryzen
tl;dr BOO your video is bad and you should feel bad

  29. I'm happy with my 14900K.

  30. Heres the thing.
If an adult with adult work to be done in addition to gaming
    AMD still cannot touch Intel.
Now if they can manage gaming with work productivity then id say Intel is cooked.
However since that is not the case
    Intel it is.

  31. Until Intel supports their socket like AMD with AM4 and AM5, I will not even bother considering Intel again. I got burned once with them not doing that again. I was stuck on a 3770K for 6 years with no other CPU to upgrade to.

  32. 14900ks is still the BEST CPU. If you don't agree you don't know what you are talking about.

  33. I’m loving my ultra 9 (non k version 285).

  34. I love my 14900k

  35. Just a quick comment on the Ryzen 9000 series, what most people miss is that 9700x has a laughable stock TDP of 65w. Increasing this, small undervolt and 200mhz overclock makes mine go 5.69ghz on all cores while gaming with a maximum single core boost of 5.74ghz. No need to spend 200 extra for the 9800x3D
