Sponsored… no thanks.
I.agine having the fastest gaming phone to play shit tier phone games….
Safety regulations are often written in blood, not just in MotoGP but across motorsports and industries.
my red magic broke first day i have nothing now im stranded at mcdonalds in germany and this guy let me use his phone but he has a red magic and it broke DO NOT BUYYYYY
These sponsored videos where you can’t even say anything negative really standout and kinda suck whenever you say stuff like we won’t comment on the camera quality “because it’s subjective or personal preference” is just another way of saying it’s not good but we can’t talk about it and that’s very against what this channel is about.
Headphone jack on the top makes it useless though.
Not that I dismissed your subjective opinion in the past, but as annoying as it may be for you to clarify it, thank you for doing it 😛
It gives an answer to the haters… Idk if this is the right approach, since it was always a trust me bro channel here and I actually liked that (because I can do my own critical thinking and accept or reject an idea…), but we are living in a weird world and you must do what you feel must be done… Anyways, noticed the obvious chance and commented on it. Thanks for trying 😛
Hmmm… This feels like a short circuit… but it's on LTT. It's cool and all.. but I kind of feel like redmagic paid a butt-ton more money in order to get this bumped up from Short Circuit to the main channel. Dunno, I'm not an LTT hater, it just feels a little weird.
"Black Friday" doesn't exist outside of the USA. Fuck American capitalism.
can we make these non camera bump designs standard again. i don't even care if m phone ends up thicker use that space for battery like red magic did.
TLDR: the water cooling is pretty much fake, it has a 24k rpm fan built in with an exhaust. It's somehow IPX8 rated, so waterproof but not dustproof. I would like to see this phone's thermals with and without the water-cooling "film" removed.
That phone is insane.
Why is a shortcircuit video on the main channel?
Wireless heat transfer to the liquid loop?
GGWP.
op7 pros pop up camera was cool mines still working
headphone jack, big battery no stupid camera hole in your screen no camera bumb this is awesome
Cool you can now pull up your apps faster.. yay..
I'm an audiophile, so if there's a 3.5mm jack and it's still output resampled audio, as most Android phones do, then there's no point in having 3.5mm jack. In this case I'd rather use a dedicated type c to 3.5mm DAC. The only case when I'd gladly take 3.5mm jack on the phone is when it has specific audio drivers/built-in DAC like in LG V series.
An important distinction there: Redmagic "FEELS"…
I'm sure certain people feel like they are the strongest or smartest people in the world, but that's well… just a feeling.
So, run the tests WITH the circulation system and WITHOUT. There's you answer.
Also: "fastest benchmark scores" … NO!!
Highest or lowest score. please. Thank you.
The only thing keeping me from buying redmagic is software support
see an advantage of me only buying mid range phones like i told in my previous comment or well i buy phones with great specs but at good price is i dont have the issue of no headphones jack for some reason if you go good phones at not so ridiculous prices they all still have headphone jacks
Video idea for LTT: wtf is going on with nits – seems like recently brightness values went bananas, and manufacturers seem to be measuring things wildly differently, and not always in the direction that benefits them most. Could deep dive into which brand is the most honest, most disingenuous, etc, with perhaps some deep dive into how screens got so bright and how they're measured.
i would love to own one but they are probably to expensive for me (i haven't seen price yet im typing this fairly early) FYI it has more to do with the fact that i break phones at an ridiculous rate 😂so i started buying mid range phones not to expensive but still good specs and dont come with buy a phone case ……… because let me tell you a story
when the Galaxy S6 came out i bought it new with flip case and within a week i dropped it and i am that person who has 0 points in luck stats it fell screen down with the flap open on a concrete floor it never had a chance to survive < after this i started buying mid range
I've never had a phone that needs watercooling, maybe i use my phone wrong?
It really is just an amazing flagship if you disregard the cringey AI anime bullshit
When i hear this overused "whou whou whou whou" by the child. I'll close youtube video. Please stop using that. This time it happened under 10 seconds.
What happened to you?
Another phone I want but will probably never actually get
Im still hanging on to my Samsung Galaxy 8 because I detest wireless earbuds. Good to know there might finally be an option to update to. Thanks Linus.
Watching this on my REDMAGIC 10 Pro.
I knew from the start the liquid-cooling was just a gimmick, there was no way that liquid took the heat away from the phone in any meaningful way.
The fan on the other hand removes heat from the CPU pretty well but, that isn't the biggest problem, it's the battery that gets hot really quickly and the only way to deal with the battery heat is to buy and use a magnetic phone cooler.
These phone's are actually powerful enough to emulate PC games, I know because I have done it. But to get the full power of the phone you need to activate something called "Diablo Mode" this is when the battery temperature gets out of control unless you use the attachable phone cooler.
Headphones on. Then sing along.
What would people think when they hear that I'm a Jesus freak.
What would people do when they find that it''s true.
I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak
There ain't no disguising the truth.
Yes. I don't want to be the guy without the headphones.
DAY 1 : HI LOVE FROM PAKISTAN ASKING YOU TO REVIEW MY PC SETUP AND GIVE A RATING THANK YOU ❤
I think apples approach of water/vapor cooling the battery is actually pretty cool.
Probably makes it less likely to explode. And a lot of times the restriction isn’t the heat of the SOC but the skin temperature of the device can’t be more than around 40 degrees Celsius. So cooling the general battery and device works. While being a lot easier to do and less complex.
Granted I think apples soc is more efficient but less powerful and they areant pushing it near as hard as is possible.
@jerryrigeverything should also have a go at this one
Can't believe I'm Um, akshuallying the um akshually, but here we go:
the weight of the battery as a % of the total phone's weight is given by
% battery = 93/(93+145) * 100% = 39%, not 39.07563025210084%.
This is because the rule for multiplication/division is that the result must have the same number of significant figures as the measurement with the fewest significant figures used in the calculation (i.e. 93 grams)
I am hoping for the day when people stop talking about headphone jacks. No body uses them. It's tech nerd thing real people don't think about.
We can see you have braces Linus, but goodness gracious, brush your teeth.
just needs physical keyboard for me to take it
That's gotta be one of the most effective sponsorships I've ever seen, I think I found my next phone.
Wished theres a non-gaming phone with no camera bumps, hidden front cam, big battery and 5 year OS update with a design like this.
I'd probably own this phone right now if it had a MicroSD card slot. Unfortunately it doesn't which means I'd have to spend more for the 512GB or 1TB models, 256GB is nowhere near enough storage for a gaming phone. Since it doesn't I'm just going to wait and see whats available over the next year or 2 (since this phone is way outside of my price range for the ones that aren't as limited for storage). 😂
What's up with your teeth Linus , why is it suddenly so yellow 😮
Too bad software support is bad.
