    [3:54:59] Outro.

  2. 43:35 "Noone talked about it" lmao.

  3. Ltt investing heavily in onesies to survive.

  4. I concur, you cannot skip the feet.

  5. @LinusTechTips LETS GO!!! I wasn’t expecting you to talk about my comments on the podcast! I’m laughing the whole time you’re talking about it! I’m happy to have a conversation with you.

  6. 21:14 Except last time that happened before that a whole bunch of memory companies went bust because they had oversupply for multiple years, now there would be only SK and Samsung instead of 8+ companies its just elpida micron SK+ samsung.
Elpida is basically nonexistant and micron is removing themselves.

  7. While I wanna say that Linus' son is very lucky that he has the opportunity and the financial support to buy 3d printers and all that tech at his age, I dont want to be a downer, so the main thing I can respect is that he took what he was given, thought about how to make it out on his own

That's quality, because yes while he's given the equipment, he still has a condition given and that is the filament's price (and the filament is the primary reason why I havent bought a 3d printer just yet even though I really want one), effectively its a emulation/simulation of a "rental agreement" of sorts

my server and personal equipments are all paid by myself like most people, so as a compromise, given a condition makes it really reasonable because he learns the ins and outs of the usage of said equipment

  8. Is it just me or do their voices sound different.

  9. Proper parenting, and proper schooling, is about teaching you kids to become adults.
Learning how to explore hobbies as part of figuring out what you want to do for work as an adult.
Sounds like Linus has a good approach to parenting.
    Set the boundaries.
Negotiations on what’s allowed and not allowed as the kids grow up and hobbies / interests change.
If I had kids I think I’d proud parent too if my kids were like this.

  10. 41:00 The reason we hate jk isn't because I thought harry should have been Hufflepuff it's because jk is trying and succeeding to change UK law to undermine the humanity of trans people. I can't verify but highly doubt people where talking about slithering.

  11. Crucial and Micron have become a joke. Companies that once built their reputation on serving consumers have now completely sold out. They’re not just disappointing — they’re acting like traitors to the very people who made them relevant in the first place.

What they’re doing isn’t innovation or progress. It’s pure greed. And that greed doesn’t come from engineers or customers — it comes from investors. Investors who treat companies like machines that must endlessly pump out more profit, no matter the cost.

This obsession with “more, more, more” has become one of the biggest threats to society. Forget climate change for a moment — the far more immediate danger is a system where a tiny group demands infinite growth from a finite world, while everyone else pays the price.

The entire investor model today is a circus. It’s built on pressure, short-term thinking, and a complete disregard for the people who actually use the products. As long as investors demand limitless returns, companies will keep bending over backwards for them and stepping on consumers in the process.

And honestly? That kind of unchecked greed is what’s dragging the world toward collapse.

    Facts, imo!!!

  12. The disappointment with Micron is not the loss of Crucial.. it's the implication.

  13. Linus throwing out funnies hoping one of them sticks

  14. I will never forgive Micron

I'm still pissed about the expensive SSD I bought from them in 2014 dying and losing all my data

  15. millionaires talking about not buying from Amazon, the rest of us mortals have no choice because 5 bucks saved makes a huge difference…

  16. Can't you buy some models for your son to print with commercial licenses? Funding is also part of business. It can show him that having a leg up is how businesses actually start. He wouldn't be able to do it without you.

  17. The choice of devices looks to me that those are the ones that have not a Netflix app running natively

  18. Andor was the only really good starwars we have gotten in a very very long time

  19. While I have nothing against MKBHD per se, he seems very megacorp-coded: releases an iOS app of questionable real-life necessity for a boutique price and only makes it open source when deemed objectively worthless to seem like a benevolent tech benefactor…

  20. I think Luke is wrong about the AI bubble affecting GPU/RAM demand in any meaningful way. The bubble is real but is mostly about investors losing money on worthless AI startups, not about unused compute. A startup either has real users (and needs GPU/VRAM) or it has no users and isn't consuming meaningful hardware in the first place. Most don't own datacenters either, they just rent GPUs from big cloud providers. So when hype startups crash, it won't suddenly free up tons of GPUs. Demand for training and inference is already maxed out, and supply can't keep up.

  21. 2:55:00 I watched the BTS video. The shadows, and the sounds of it moving hitting the ground etc. it looks real. And I’m a pretty skeptical person when it comes to CGI and AI videos.

  22. In the engine ai robot video, there were shots where the robot had a greenish tint to it, those were 100% CG. The other shots I think were legit.

  23. i had pia but i use proton now, the free version works in missouri just sayin

  24. You didn't touch the CloudFlare outage topic? 2nd in the last couple of weeks

  25. The AI bubble needs to burst – they spent money they'll never recoup.

  26. If anybody deserves more money it's that stupid terf.

  27. What about floatnative, you guys need to talk to the dev

  28. Hi Linus, look at digital detox as a business continuity management process and take it from there.

  29. I will never unsee that 49:00

  30. 📰BREAKING: American taxpayers fork over $6.1B CHIPS Act welfare to Micron for 'US jobs & fabs'—they repay us by nuking Crucial consumer SSDs/RAM by Feb '26 to hoard chips for AI overlords. Prices? Mooning for plebs while Jensen vapes AI utopia on Joe Rogan, glossing the grift. Gamers Nexus eviscerates Crucial and Jensen: Tag-team subsidy scam?

  31. this video started playing in the background and had to come see if it was Linus. the voice is jarring haha

  32. Maple syrup cooling loop during the Olympics

  33. Crucial was my go-to for RAM and SSD. Sad times.
9:40 Remember though, bad RAM can corrupt your data, no matter how good your SSD is. I've experienced that personally.

  34. 3:02:30 This part really warmed my heart seeing how as Linus’ son gets older he looks more and more like his father. 😊

  35. 1:01:00 lmao someone made lmg yaoi
    Good job!

  36. I built my PC and all PCs for my friends with crucial storage and ram that hits me pretty hard 🙁

  37. I think the big exception to competition always being better was that it was nice when everything was on Netflix and we only paid one subscription. Buying warner bros, which owns HBO max, will hopefully mean I get to stop paying for HBO max if/when it's absorbed into Netflix
