Yeah being able to control the speed by pressing into the pad is nice and all…. But you're always losing finer control when you use more force. Using more force to obtain more control is just counterintuitive.
It's a bad habit that should be gotten rid of, not a feature that one should rely on.

Wallhack legit makes the worst glass mousepads tbh. Kanami makes the best surfaces and are also the thinnest.
please review other cheap mousepads, I dont want to see a 25 dollar cuttingboard with hexagons on them, I want to see real glass against glass…
The texture of the Dawntrees mouse pad reminds me a lot of my Atom solar panel glass mouse pad. They both have the same honeycomb texture which is basically a mouse feet grinder especially for smaller skates, so I personally would not recommend it for long term use. The honeycomb texture also catches grime very easily and is hard to clean off, removing the advantage of glass mouse pads being easier to clean. Imo, it's not worth the money if you're looking to use it long term, there's another glass mouse pad by a brand called llano which doesn't have the honeycomb texture and is about 50 USD.

From back in the days i always used the desk surface, hard surfaces are more consistent across temperature, humidity, life is the skates, and when your arm doesn’t stick. The glass and hard plastic desktops i have had ate skates really bad though. I think the gamer glass pads are also coated or have an engineered texture (as in it’s not just etched glass) compared to the Dawntrees that kills like solar panel glass.

I don't like blind boxes, but I don't think its as plain and simple as predatory greed for more money. I personally think blindboxes are fine if done right. For example themousepadcompany has a blind box that gave you misprints for a cheaper price compared to a normal one. I think if its done like that at a lower price and includes defect items or undesireable designs its perfectly fine. It helps reduce waste and give customers a fore afforable option for those who dont really care about the design.
cheap glass mousepads like the one in the video are originally manufactured as glass panels for solar panels, the hexagonal pattern refracts light better than flat glass. the panels are very cheap to manufacture abt $4 usd.

There’s been a ton of concerns about Wallhack’s QC regarding insane speed variance between different units. No one can agree on the speed of the VA-005 or SP-004, some even post evidence showing that the SP-004 is faster than their VA-005 when it should be the opposite. Do you have any experience with that kind of variance? I want to get either the VA or the SP 5 but I can’t find a reliable, accurate report on either’s speed.
I read on a Reddit post (I know how it sounds but hear me out)some of these cheap mousepads are based on glass used on solar panels and can be gotten for very cheap with no design. However, your skates will probably last less because the surface is not ready for them.
I've seen people desribe de Vaxee PD 151/155 as having "built-in mouse acceleration" and the slower you move, the more dynamic friction there is.And that usually once you overcome static friction, the mouse will skip forward a little bit,that dosen't seem really good, do you agree on these takes
