14600k for 160 $ , gigabyte gaming b760 X AX for 130 $ , 32 GB RAM 6600 MHz for 90 $. So for 380 $ I can play everything with good results. With a little optimization in bios it runs cool and quiet at 5300 MHz on P-cores and the power consumption also under control. Coming from a Ryzen 5600 I could definitely feel a more snappy sistem and better overall gaming experience, no more micro stutter in cpu heavy scenes or hitching, faster shader compilations. With the 5600 I needed to lock the FPS at 100~120 fps in most games to free up the cpu for overhead. The FPS swing was wild between different scenes. Fast mouse turns now are smooth, swinging in Spiderman games are butter smooth , the last if us or any other cpu heavy games now just runs smoothly.

I have Amd combo build 9070xt and 7800x3d paired , Its the best build i have ever had !! Playing on 1440p able to run all games smoothly without any issue 😉 ..

I wound up with a 9800X3D because I had the money for it, putting the budget into the GPU wasn't a possibility because I literally bought the best GPU available at the time. That said, I don't regret it, it's a gimmick but it's a fun one. It's so smooth.

Hardware Unboxed did almost this same test last year with a 7800X3D+4070 and 7600+4070 Ti and they found the 7600+4070 Ti was better in almost all games and resolutions.
