Pretty sure my next gaming build will be a Linux build. Too little too late.
One thing that's so annoying with microsoft products is that they have all these additional stupid steps when running software for the first time or after updates or somethimes just randomly without reason. I just want to use the software, I don't care about teams being eol and I need teams v2, just forward me, don't make me press a ´stupid button.
ChatGpt refused to generate some image (Millennium falcon) for me one day and then I asked why. It couldn't give an answer, but it then provided me a prompt which would work.. and that prompt did exactly what i wanted.

I think it's good that Linus is trying to counter the criticism with data. However, it doesn't seem as if the charts really show that the criticism (I think it's about someone not receiving a raise for three years) is incorrect.
The number of LMG/LTT employees has grown 3-5 times since 2018. And in 2023, a CEO was hired who earns as much as 5-10 average employees. Of course, that accounts for a large part of the wage growth.
Looking at the growth from the “How LMG spends money” video, the average salary in 2023-2024 has risen from 114k to 115k. The growth looks much more impressive in the graph.
Please excuse me if I have made a mistake and correct me if I am wrong.
To me, the graphs only show that LMG is growing and therefore spending more money. In my opinion, no statement was made here regarding the criticism that I would describe as “Employees' personal achievements are not recognized or rewarded.”

The problem Microsoft will have is that people like my self who have always used windows will move to Linux if it's better, and it is better now. Then I boot up my work laptop and sigh. Then I ask my employer if I can have Linux on that instead.

You should do a challenge using professional applications, for example, engineering software, on Linux. Most of the time you’ll need to use qemu/kvm because it’s the only viable way but it’d be interesting to see how seamless could the experience become if properly tuned.
