I have the aula sc900 which comes with 2 batteries and I love it. It’s also much cheaper than this mouse. The only thing i dont really like is the coating.

I had a replaceable battery wireless mouse (Logitech G7) back in 2005, so what is so special about this one?
Just buy wireless mouse that uses batteries…. eg steelseries rival 3

the mouse needs a "violently eject" button for the battery, otherwise it's not a proper reload.
so you said that g309 is an awful mice because it is powered by aa battery and logitech is forcing you to buy powerplay and beside that g309 is a great mouse but now this concept technically is with the same idea besides that you need to track level of charge of the batteries, which is not the case with powerplay, so i chose 50 dollar g309 with 80 dollar powerplay on sale and now have no worries about charging my mice, maybe hero sensor does not have 8k polling rate which i do not need playing cs2, and overall weight is higher, but it is still a great mouse.
Replaceable batteries are neat but sounds to me like a great idea from the past we forget about. Looking at our smartphones as well
