Marcus, Here is an honest question for a answer ? What content you and your channel would do if there was no PC builds for three months. ?
I just put together a basic 4K gaming tower plus productivity tower for 1900$ at MC.
Intel 14700k CPU
Asus Z790 max wifi.
Crucial PRO 32GB pc6400 RAM.
ASRock AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Steel Legend Dark Overclocked Triple Fan 16GB GDDR6 PCIe 5.0
EDGE GOLD 850 watt PSU Lian Li.
Lian Li Galahad Trinity AIO.
Lian LI 011 dynamic MINI tower.
UNI FAN CL Wireless Reverse BladE 3PK
UNI FAN CL Wireless Reverse X2
UNI FAN CL Wireless Fluid Dynamic Bearing 120mm X1
1765$ before taxes so roughly 1900$
By using a cheaper AIO without RGB fans, I can focus on the RGB from the case fans and GPU and integrate them into the motherboard, for lighting effects.
If I want NO RGB besides what is on the GPU, I can save roughly another 100$.
The Lian LI components should be a perfect fit inside the Lian Li case.
RGB fanns in a Lian Li case, from what I have seen, it would be dark inside the window case with no RGB fans and only a GPU with some lighting, would look bare bones.
I am not going to see the AIO and would mainly see the bottom half of the build.
Seems worth the upgrade on fans, to spend the 100$ and get 6 Lian Li SL fans pushing 2100 cfm and you get reverse fans that look better, I see mainly them and the GPU and water block, lit up in some RGB when I look into the case which is placed on top of my sub, underneath the multi desk and it does block some air, from the center fan but the case should balance on top of the sub, I have some rubber pad.
Aesthetically the Lian Li fans add a lot of extra bling, the other options are not much better.
The O11 Mini seems perfect for what I needed and is designed for good airflow.
I chose a relatively cheap case because it was my first pc but i regret after some time because i under-look some features like molex fans and not having usb-c
Bro ,you re knowledgeable and cool but RX 9060XT for 1440p is not good . Better cheaper case ,PSU,mobo but a faster GPU .
Micro Center has both the 7500X3D and the 7600X3D!
I love the case <3 I ordered one, but in black
Ivs always had doubts on any Ryzen below 7 how much difference is there actually betweent he 2
A nice looking case, but will those front 170mm fans will be a problem trying to find if they need replacing?
Ram prices are crazy!!! good job I built my pc last year 64Gb
That would drive me insane the cpu cooler fans not aligned
I have a 3080 with a 14700k and i only get 140 fps on arc raiders on low. Whats going on?
i couldnt even find 32 gigs of ram cheap enough so im getting 16 for now lol
MSI Mystic Light RGB software has a cooler fan option to make the color represent the temperature.
Hey Marcus, I’d like to personally thank you for your advice and videos. Because of you, I was able to build my own PC independently, having NO experience. I am now firmly part of the PC gaming community (and YouTube content creation!) and couldn’t be happier that I chose to watch your videos. Keep up the good work!
Why a 850w psu for a 300w PC? This PSU craziness must stop, 750w+ PSU are inflated by user's (and youtuber's) stupidity. A 650w PSU can run a 5080 paired with a 14900k, who needs more than 650w???? Who draws 100% power from both the CPU and GPU simultaneously? Then people buy a 80+ 1000w PSU to run a 5070 and the PSU is running at 35% which demolishes efficiency and you are never2 even close to that promised 80% yield. What's the point? I'm personally running a OC 9800x3d at 5.425ghz (100w max in gaming), 6000mhz oc ram, rtx 5070 oc drawing 275w with a 650w PSU. How would you reach 850w with a 9060xt??????? Why would Corsair include a 450w 12pin GPU cable with its 650w PSU? 😉
13:39, its the rgb strip, you can either show the gigabyte logo lit up or you can slide it left and just have a line of colour.
Having built many PCs myself, I find it better to fit the PSU first. It can be a bit tight getting it past the front panel audio cable in most cases otherwise.
Maxed out GPU on a game like Fortnite is not something that most gamers are gonna go after. Pass on this one. I like AMD better for the CPU but Nvidia is still king for GPU.
Built something very similar last week using your build guide and it worked first try (first ever build age 51) went 7700x and b650 to save a bit.
GEEEET THEE SCREWWWW!!!!
THEEEE SCREWWWW GET THE SCREWWWW!!!!! 😬😩
Ok thx karl u got it out phew that was close!
Marcus do you have the flu 🤧?
Man i feel lucky that i have a pc centric mouse mat that you can't buy anymore that thing will be worth a lot in the future and is a collectors piece now 😂
It's not that ram isn't available. It's that all these AI farms are buying up every kit available and the manufacturers are making money like Amazon was during the pandemic
Is that x3d cpu the reason why your fps on arc raiders is so high? Im running an undervolted and overclocked 5070ti and 9600x and i only get around 150fps with dlss balanced at 1440p
i play bf6 with the 9060xt and i5 5600xt cpu 4k about 80 to 100 and with frame gen 150fps runs good.
Are you going to use blue for your hard lines in your personal pc series?
8 minutes in i wondered, 'omg I hope he peeled the plastic off the bottom of the heatsink!' great video
Next time, get the AORUS ICE stealth. Wayyyy cleaner looking
How do you control the rgb on lian li fans?
I was Genuinely WAITING & HOPING!!! That you would do a Build in this case!! 🙌🙌
I just build a 9800x3d with 5060 in a 4.3L
The perfect gaming PC build for 1440p gaming, apart from Runescape.
7800x3d and 9070xt full pc for 1100 pounds or 9800x3d and 9070 (NON XT) for the same price??
You're super weird and super geeky and I super love it!
I have the og 217. Kind of odd lian li doesn't offer those 170mm inf argb fans with all those fans they sell. For the card, it is something in the budget of most looking to get more than 8 or 12gb with a slight raw performace upgrade would be better said imo. Barely anyone is ever even remotely thinking about spending over $1k on a gpu, especially these days
You need me to come over and give you a hand x
its a sexy build
