This monitor is only good for videos/casual gaming. The ghosting is a huge issue, also the colors are not good. But for the overall price, it's a solid monitor.
Hi, do u still have the CU34G2X ?
There are some very negative comments of black smearing/heavy ghosting which can easily be reproduced by even scrolling on Win10 Dark Mode / Settings menu !!!
What's your final decision after 1.5yrs of use ?
bought one last week. dead on arrival. doesn't display anything, screen goes a bit blueish when powered on. no splash screen, no menus etc. BUT windows picks it up just fine. googled these symptoms and found reddit posts dating back 1 year. that's 1 year of NOT FIXING these issues. the monitor I got was made in august '21. started RMA, AOC got back to me in less than 24h and they said the monitor will be replaced. then the next day they contacted me and said that no 34" replacement available and that I would be getting 31" curved display instead. Didn't accept that and I toke the monitor back to where I bought it and got my money back.

IPS screens of this size are normally beyond like 3 times the price, that's why its "affordable"

There's a driver u can download for AOC monitors where u can change the monitor settings. Also u can, as this guy also noticed in the video, change the rgb colors yourself. Another tip, tune some settings in the Nvidia and/or Amd settings! ^^
