Intel’s Arrow Lake Refresh is actually refreshing. At $299 and $199, the 270K Plus and 250K Plus both look to be flagship killers, taking the fight to AMD’s Ryzen 9000 chips. Zen 5 domination might not be for long.

Isn't it sad that Cities Skylines 2 has become the new Crysis?
Never been so invested in a sponsor segment!
9:34 no AMD does not need to respond.
They were long enough on top of the charts. Its good to see intel coming back.
Zions need cash for war in middle east so the price went down for quick profits 😂
I know it's hard to balance and choose which comparable products to include, but cmon, isn't the 5800x3d or 5700x3d a necessary comparison, as it is the flagship gaming cpu of the platform one might be upgrading from, but still very relevant and competetive?
The naming scheme man, wtf intel. Get your marketing department together, the fuck is this shit.
i would buy but i need to buy a new monitor because Asus lied about the display being hdr1000 but it's not even hdr certified in windows
recession indicator 😬
So intel are having to throw more cores into their CPUs just to keep up with AMD. Got it. 👍
they never left lol intel gang
These ads with Riley are getting crazy🤣
6:50 Typo, it's Core Ultra 5 and 7 not Core Ultra 7 and 9

Core ultra 7 250k Plus and Core Ultra 9 270k Plus? Where did the 7 and 5 go? 😀
250K+++ is awesome if you're given a free board and ram.
Great! I'd upgrade to the 270k plus but Intel screwed me again with no upgrade path and I am not buying another 250€ Mainboard again. Add in the cost for a new Mainboard every single time and these chips are very expensive all of a sudden again. No thanks.
$199 for the 250K Plus is not what I expected to hear in 2026. Especially since this is intel we're talking about 😂
The "Pump Up The Jam" bit made me smile… I'm Old! Technotronic!!!
I literally just bought the 285k 😑
Linus paid reviews are back…
At 0:51 in the video the core count is wrong on the Core Ultra 5 250k Plus, it says its 18 cores (8P+16E), that would make it 24 cores, looks like that's an f up on intel's side though as this video is only showing screen shots from intel's performance states. Happy to see intel throwing their hat back into the ring though, it's actually awesome seeing intel making headway again
Will this work in my Eee PC 1000HE?
To be frankly honest, part of the reason I won't really get a PC today, is because of the random confusing naming scheme.
Don't really like Apple, but OMG. They actually just know how to name stuff.
Competition is a good thing. Used to be Intel was stupidly overpriced and amd was the one coming out with great budget options. we've come full circle.
only took them a few years to catch up
Amazing c and clear graphs
Houston we have a socket problem
Well, sadly they are using DDR5, wish there was a DDR4 option, the prices are too insane for DDR5 at the moment.
How about socket support? How is the motherboard upgradability?
no 9950x3d representation 🙁 the 0.1% is sad ~~im one of them lol~~
i am no longer regular viewer of these channels. why is the naming reverse from previous gen?
@LinusTechTips it's hard to have a good idea of how good the items are in the list when it switches between "Higher is better" and "Lower is better" with just a small change of text.
Having arrows, colors or something else that would instinctively – or even after some examples – visually help us to quickly notice the "goodness direction" of the graph would be nice :).
Thanks for not divulging any of the RAM frequencies used in testing…AGAIN!
