Hey I’ve been living in Korea for the last 5 years, I bought my PC in that area, in a very sketchy empty looking building. But it was a great experience lol
Now try it in a Japanese mall🙏🏾
I need a dust filter for a Hoover Max extract pressure pro model 60. Can you help me with that?
용산전자상가… 2000년대가 전성기였죠
Of course the computer mall was empty in the afternoon during weekday! People have jobs and will go for shopping after work or in the weekend!
Yongsan is mostly dead because most PC market has moved online, plus they are very well known for horrible price gouging and very poor customer service (never telling the price, threatening customers who don't buy, etc)
Love these unscripted videos, theyre so much fun!
welcome to korea. yongsan tech mall is famous in korea
Huh, well what do you know. I've been there. Unfortunately i went to Korea when it was a national public holiday so the whole place was closed haha. Didn’t get to look at anything. Good to see it now even if through a screen.
Casey Neistat is back with some old school content today, also with LTT, what a coincidence.
Tech Mall really needs to adapt to stay competitive.
The 光華 electronic mall in Taiwan, Linus had gone before, is now such a mix.
I can try to buy headphones, a keyboard, and some storage in one building
Then try out some ergo chairs, sound systems, and buy anime merch in another
Then buy some food and snacks from DON DON DONKI in another building.
After one trip, I can pick up everything a weeb needs.
So When is Scrapyard wars International edition starting up?
I live in Korea and I visit 2 places for electronics for laptop and other electronics, 1st Yongsan Electronic Center, 2nd Kukje Electronic Center. Those are the great places for shop for gaming and others. Specially Kukje has Retro Games as well.
Would love to see one of those videos in Egypt 😀
In circa 2018, I shit you not that same CRT projector was for sale in that shop when I was stationed in Yongsan
instead of Naver, the kakao apps in korea were awesome, using kakao maps was pretty good last time i was in korea
Hey I just noticed, your beard is back!
well nowadays mostly we rely on online shopping and only go offline to find 2nd hand cheaper or rare finds or specific build shops. could be better off visiting big branded shop in the area such as compuzone, etc,… contact me if you need a guide in seoul 🙂
A locals comments, it looks dead, but Koreans tend to buy items online than in stores, it may look abandoned, but it is not.
I live right next to the market.
