It's only important to store your filament if you live in a humid environment or if you store them for long periods of time. Also, IMHO, containers are the worst way to store your filament. They take up a ton of room. You're better off with vacuum bags meant for filament. They are reusable and take up only a tiny bit more space than your filament does.
