Also I have never been the type of person to complain about any oled screen, because I love oled, but privacy screen has a noticable difference. I wouldn't always use it personally.
My S21 ultra made it 5 years without a case before completely shitting the bed. Went into the store for a S26 plus and the guy misheard me and starting ringing up the ultra. I figured it was fate because I was already on the fence. Happy with the new purchase and was still happy with S21 if I didn't break mine.

I have my privacy set on baking apps and all notifications. I also use routines so when I'm working out at the gym, privacy display comes on automatically and then comes off when I finish working out. Perfect set up tbf

The Chinese phones have built some solid grounds and reviewers are calling out samsung for not keeping up with the competition.
Good strategy, but two generations later and S26 ultra is still not worth upgrading to for me. I guess the next innovation comes with S35 ultra.

In my opinion the s26 ultra has the nices phone display I've used yet but gotta be careful with eye strain abit could take some getting used to the new tech
I own S26 ultra, bought at its launch day itself but I am totally disappointed. It is a good phone but not the phone anywhere near worth for the price that its selling for. Camera is no where close to even some of the mid range phones, shutter lag is pathetic. Photo edit feature, is a gimmick feature that can be used only for fun, actually which third-party apps can give much more professional result. What stands apart this phone is Privacy display and spen, which mostly all, gonna use rarely. If flagship means, selling at a higher, unreasonable price, then it can be considered as one of those.
I use the pen less and less since they removed the bluetooth.

I don't care about the privacy display, I care about the Bluetooth spen. I don't care so much about Ai features, I care about upgraded sensors. Samsung fumbled big time on this phone.

Yeah, by all means, just casually skip over how the screen is still pixely looking even with privacy off, shame most of the big tech reviewers are just not acknowledging and avoiding it. The screen is a downgrade, no argument about it. As someone who uses the screens for 8+ hrs daily and has multiple generations of the ultra, yes I would know, I clearly see the differences. The s26U screen is a downgrade and I'm never using the privacy feature, and let's be real the majority of people are not going to bother using the privacy feature and if they were they would have a screen protector for it. The privacy screen is mediocre at best the angles to get actual privacy is ridiculous someone sitting next to you can still see everything if you have your brightness up.

Samsung is winning in design. I like my S26, the lightest I have used which I really like. I know the Chinese put in so much battery but making the phone thicker weighing heavy will ruin the experience. Samsung put in the right amount and optimize it properly
I just switched to the S26 Ultra from an iPhone 16 PM. This phone feels futuristic and amazing. Android is for adults!!
