This was a brilliant video. Super relatable too. I'm new to PC gaming, I bought my first gaming PC for £450 off Facebook Marketplace (purely to play DayZ lol). I absolutely love it. But I'm already looking to upgrade, cos I want to get into content creation too. Struggling to find a decent build for anything below £1500. And if anyone read £1500 and thought "that's not even that bad", you're right. And that's the problem

Your worry, price, very valid concern, but that will stabilise itself. Either by AI demand going down, or by manufacturing knowing the demand is sustained so they can upscale in confidence, that would take them years to meet that demand. But it will get there nonetheless,

i never thought i'd build a pc in my life but i finally have thanks to channels like yours. i find that upgrading components over time is a much better option than buying a whole new setup as it spreads the cost out and it's not a huge purchase all at once. of course, there's always some part that will lag performance wise but financially it's been helpful

This Ramageddon is also hitting HDD drives, I am in the process of ripping my DVD’s to a 4TB HDD, I was going to start on my blu-ray films, but that has been shelved for now. 8months ago I paid £98 for a WD RED PLUS 4TB HDD, it is now at £192, I paid £99 for a WD blue NVME SSD 2TB that is now at £250, my gaming pc is worth more if I dismantled it and so the parts separately than I paid for the parts brand new. I wanted to build a gaming pc for the living room but it was £2.5k, I thought stuff it and bought a Mac Book Air M5 instead which is still cheaper than building a pc. I have started putting a bit of money to one side now and going to wait this nonsense out I think. I haven’t watched you channel for a long long long time, simply because I wasn’t building a pc at the moment so it was irrelevant. I think the way things stand even the second hand market will be out of a lot of people’s reach to build their own pc.
I only have 2 games on my pc and that’s Starfield (it was free with my GPU) and Destiny 2. I need a desk and a chair as sitting on the floor is killing me legs, arse, and back. Thanks for the update and I hope it won’t be another 12 months before I check out your channel again.
