  14. Heh, I remember what seems like a YEAR ago when they said these were in a bunch of production ready laptop designs coming onto the market soon. I’ll believe it when I see it but these ionic ‘fans’ are starting to sound like a pipe dream that they are slowly realising won’t work.

  18. 😂😂😂 that airflow was so weak tho, even if they put a regular fans, laptaps can go as much as 85 degrees or more when gaming then they gonna replace those fans with those weak ass ones.😂😂😂

  19. Will this allow laptop manufacturers to make their systems more modular. Because they need a standardized the parts if there wasn't such weird shaped motherboards because of the CPU fans. Maybe they could standardized the IO ports

    What happens when dust settles on the wire or other components? If you don't need intake opening like those on fans where is the air being sucked come from?

  28. Previously there is company try to use piezoelectric to create fan. Now this. But at the end regular fan still in consumer laptop 🤣. Maybe the technology not profitable enough.
