Comments

  1. This channel is now the YouTube version of of tech QVC or HSN. Money really does make you scared to be different

  2. Acoustic DAMPING, not dampening. Why would you want to make it wet?

  3. 2:40 why did we cut off the worried looking noctua guy from camera when linus was holding that mobo with one hand

  4. So it's worse than liquid when you replace it and worse than a ptm when you don't?..

  5. 4000 thermal cycles to get equal performance? Why not just replace thermal, paste every 3 to 5 month, and enjoy the much better performance then just replace them

  6. Noctua aint the same ever since hawk tuah

  7. Okaaay, I guess it's time to change the thermal paste sigh

  8. All we can hear is why not to buy it, it solves mo problem at all and costs more. Hard pass, for what? Just to save time reapplying thermal paste

  9. Great now I have to Break in My PC

  10. These ship with the 10th anniversary 5800X3D allegedly

  11. Sign me up for that pumpless AIO.

  12. So reapply thermal paste every 3-4 pc cleanings, visavi 5-8 months?!

  13. Noctua is probably one of the very few company where people gets more excited if they're taking their time or delays their future products, because we know they're actually doing some real engineering shits and actually reports on updates and improvements during events.

  14. Id like to hear if they tried using paste, their nano pad and then paste again and seeing if that helps or worsens or anything, same with if they did that with liquid metal, LM – nano pad – LM. Or is their technology better with the special polymer coating? Id imagine they've tried this and found their solution better, but would be interesting to hear what they had to say. I get this is supposed to replace the thermal paste but if it was to end up working better while using them together, i dont see why they wouldnt do it.

  15. The Riley without a beard jumpscare 😂

  16. for a datacenter that could be a good alternative! I know that we have issues at work

  17. you mean the linus app is a fools errand

  18. he needs all the information on how to save my items and anyone elses items and how to destroy you

  19. hes asking where is your main server

  20. Hey have you guys heard of project silica from Microsoft where they use glass as storage

  21. 9:05 Is that noctua colored 3D printer filament in the back?

  22. If you are a tinker this product is not for you, if you are anyone else this product is not for you because you are probably not building PC. And this product is not for PC builder because they will not take the risk to deliver a PC that has poor thermals using a product that probably cost 3 times the price of high performance thermal paste. Average user will still take years before reaching the 5000 cycles required to reach the performance threshold. And I don't really see what is this product good for. To maximize performances, even small devices, workstations, servers need to have efficient thermal solutions at all times. And those are machines that will be serviced every year, maybe even multiple times a year and upgaded every 5 years. So using these pads would be a waste of performances and money. Or I am missing something…

  23. Probably better for laptops

  24. I have bought multiple Noctua fans in the past and was always disappointed with their performance unfortunately and had to keep looking.

  25. I love to put it on my non existend PC Components

  26. Sounds like it would be a good option for consoles like an Xbox, no body is reapplying paste to consoles

  27. 4:00 I beg your pardon

  28. I thought it was hak-tu-a, no?

  29. So first 5 years when your cpu is fresh and performant you got a crappie performance from that pad

  30. So they made a product that incentives me to game more?

Will my wife accept this as a excuse for more gaming?

  31. why not make a software to have a CPU thermal cycle faster?

  32. This guy’s squeeky voice… no thank you.

  33. at this point i thought carbon nanotubes weren’t even real

  34. Better keep my cpu always warm

  35. Is it me or Linus seems to have more problem with his s's today.

  36. 0:14 Carbon Nanotubes is no longer an instult?

  37. How's this compared to kryosheet performance?

  38. Why don't they pre cycle the material as part of manufacturing?
