    SHOUTOUTS:
Check out the Vancouver Dome: https://www.domevancouver.com/

  2. Projection Mapping are where those professional projector that costs tens of thousands really shine. They are used to project videos and animation to large buildings, monuments, domes, even football fields. The highest number of projector that i've seen is 16 units of 32K lumens Panasonic Projector to light a 100m Monument from 150m away using a zoom lens and the number of projectors can go beyond that.

  3. what is the unfortunate acronym of the ben-q?

  4. If you can afford a $3000+ projector, you can also afford a 4K blu ray player even if it’s used. Streaming bottlenecks everything from the $2000 projector onward.

  5. Surpised to see a moderately modern Minolta lens out in the wild

  6. Linus just loves Encanto

  7. 0:57 I thought he was gonna show us the segway to our sponsor.

  8. well you couldnt find anything close as a monitor for 2 dollars so i think that is incredible for the price. If I would be buing it I would expect that I am going to get a flash light in a projector form.

  9. Scientists: We can't hear the light.
    Linus: Hold my projector.

  10. Did they block aliexpress in canada? you can get very interesting options for $50-100

  11. I wish you’d shown more useful information for regular Joes. Like what are they like in a normal room where light can be a problem. (Is it useless during the day?) This video assumes everyone has a cinema room. Also, I don’t really care about theatre quality 200k projectors, I go to the theatre for that. Please come back down to earth LTT;) Still love ya though:)

  12. It's not just a monitor you need but also the light rejecting screen to go with it, even the best projector can look like garbage washed out on a wall during the daytime

  13. The JVC vs budget OLED tv?

  14. You guys really skimmed the low budget projector segment. You can easily get a projector that's leagues and magnitudes better than the first one and are actually very usable if your expectations aren't unreasonably high for the price. There's projectors at like 50-100 bucks that while not amazing, can actually do genuine 720-1080p that's very doable for a casual watch on a big screen.

  15. $2 is a bit outside my budget. Do you have anything for 45-50 cents?

  16. i love ltt but this video felt so arrogant…

  17. $2 and its kinda like early vr with that screen door

  18. Who edited this bro 😂😂😂, its so peak

  19. 20 to 200.. ok…. but there are options between it…. then you jump all the way to 2000? wth.

  20. I really like the lighting when explaining the projectors in the "kitchen/workspace"

  21. Why all of the over the top and obnoxious sound effects? 😐

  22. What was that robot movie they were testing with called?

  23. 7:47 Why does he look like he raps and wears cigarette earrings?

  24. 8:25 .. .the light goes through the color wheel BEFORE it hits the DMD… picky yes, but lets get it right guys 🙂

  25. That's 2.74 hours per day for 30 years, man.

  26. A Rainbow Apple? 💀
    That was unexpected.

  27. The only use that I will be giving a projector is for jellyfin and party games like smash, tekken, mario kart etc. No competitive gaming 😂 oh and story focused games like ac, the walking dead

  28. Your comparison videos lack useful information. LTT is becoming more about click bait than actual informative yet entertaining tech coverage. The scripts for the videos are getting less and less informative and really don't give the viewer any value. It feels like your making a video just for the sake of it. Half cooked ideas and half cooked scripts.

A few ideas which could help improve the videos

    – 2k vs 20k, instead of halving the proejcted media and comparing the two halves with the two projectors, you should compare both of the full projections side by side or at least have the same half of the media showing. This provides a helpful side by side as they're projecting the same image and allows us to directly compare the two and pick out anomalies and the different projection qualities.

    – Quick performance side by side in a non light controlled room. I know most people would use them in a light controlled room. Would have been good to see what a little light does to the different projectors.

    – Using the same screen size and not showcasing the projectors' performances at a few different screen sizes completely misses out on some of the value of the projector. This may also be a huge deciding factor when for someone when purchasing a projector. The 2k projector may only look good at 120" and the image quality mightly heavily decline as the screen size is enlarged. Missed out on a good opportunity. This is common amongst all your comparison videos.

    – The price points of the projectors are silly and not relevant to the average consumer. $50, $500, $1000, $3000, $10000, $20000 would be a much better comparison. You can even add the 200k one in the mix as well if you're willing to show off the massive screenm sizes it boasts. You still get your click bait title and we still get to see what a monster projector is capable of. You are really missing a sweet spot here. This to me shows your more interested in clickbait rather than actual informative content.

I get the video isn't supposed to be a hardcore in depth review, but some small improvements could really add alot of value to your videos. These are fairly obvious talking points yet you still seem to miss them.

  29. Heyyy what us that Robot movie called it looked intresting

  30. So the 200,000$ projector is just a projector used in theatres?

  31. I got a very lightly used school hitachi projector. It was $30 at goodwill, best deal in projectors in my opinion. They had 3 or 4 and i had to carry them all over to the only power outlet i know of at that location to test them but i was pleased to find the nicest newest one worked!

  32. I have 3 Projectors. A $1600 Epson, A $200 YumCha Something or other, and a 2000 peso little tube looking thing from the Philippines. The Philippines thing that looks like a downlight has built in Android, has automatic keystone, and a brightness that makes the Epson look like a lonely candle. Philippines and Shopee for the Win. Yet another loss for Epson. What happened to Epson, absolute trash now.

  33. Back in like 2000, some kid stole a ballers projector from his AV club on his school campus. He sold it to me for 100 bucks…
You better believe, playing ps2, on on a 10X10 screen on the side of a building, was freaking awesome at the time. Apparently the kid tried ganking a second one, and got caught. The police showed up at my house and charged me with receiving stolen property…
It was worth the fine. LOL I only ended up paying a fine, and giving up the projector. So I essentially used a projector for a few months for a couple hundred bucks. Stealing is bad kids. Dont do it. And dont buy stolen items. It will bite you in the end.

  34. How the fuck did you get it for 2 dollars 💀

  35. Thank you for the flashing lights warning! All photosensitive people will thank you for that.

  36. Welp linus has been watching the found footage channel hes playing the pricemaster video

  37. PriceMaster reference? Hell yeah.

Also, I think the sci-fi future of projectors is accurate. Not close to there yet, but eventually.

  38. Literally watching this on my pj40 pro lol ceiling mounted in our master bedroom and we love it.

  39. I never knew DLP is basically interlacing the picture

  40. Unfortunately $20,000 is used car money 😢

  41. Pricemaster clip is unexpected ball knowledge

  42. Where can I buy a $2 one for myself?

  43. 2 x 100 =200. Not x 10…
