Why mine is orange?
Type A is easily top 3 USB’s
just give us working usb 2.0 everywhere and nobody will ever complain.
maybe a couple of blues for higher speed file transfer and we're done.

Huawei puts purple in their high speed chargers, im shure its on the usbc but not that certain if they also put it on the usba

Just using Noctua brown USB ports. System just runs better that way.
My pc case has black usb 3 ports
That green and purple look like the PS2 mouse and keyboard old style plugs. Maybe that’s what they’re trying to mimic, purple USB for wired keyboard and green USB for wired mouse 🤷♂️
If I have an Astro A50, I have to connect it on the red one?
By the way, just so you people know, only some manufacturers actually even bother following these color schemes. Some only have the little icons and such etc. so don't get blindsided by that.

Not everyone follows the colour scheme..Most Lenovo ThinkCentre Micro paints all USB in black

The colors are more like recomendations, since there are plenty of black USB 3 or other random colors, just because that color fits better with a design or a color theme
Green and purple are for nostalgia of PS2 socket.

I have a teal and it keeps my headphones light on also the mousepad
Maybe but usually colors don’t make sense as well as USB speed naming. I have USB hub that is 10Gbps and it is regular blue, not that lighter one. Besides many laptops are done with colors and make USB ports black. Colors just look silly and don’t fit to overall look.
