1 year ago, I bought the pre-refresh version of this exact laptop, the HP Omen Max 16, with a Core ultra 7 255hx (same P cores, 4 less E cores) RTX 5080, 64GB of RAM and 2TB NVME SSD, costed me 1800$ 😂
Now this one, the refresh version, is ever so marginally faster (something like 10%), with half the RAM, and it's 4700$..

Hey hey my man good video I just bought this laptop, but I got all black version with the 5070TI and umm it's a very good laptop and I went from the razor blade Pro 2020 with a 10th gen i7 and a 2070 Max Q to this hyper X omen Max 16 with the Ultra 9 290HX processor and the 5070TI. It is a very good laptop I won't lie I did not want to give up my razor blade but once I saw the specs on this laptop and I was able to catch it on a sale for a pretty good deal I said yeah let me go ahead and get it And I have not regretted it. It is a very good gaming laptop don't get me wrong I'm still a fan of Razer but I like HP too to all out there get this laptop Trust me it's worth it👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Even if it was made of asteroids and gifted to me…I wouldn't want it. hp has reached rock bottom. Barely used rubbish that won't even get repaired on full warranty despite being almost new. hp 'offered' me to pay 350€ for the substitution of my laptop's ssd after its shocking death during standard bootup. In a laptop I had used for nothing office work as my Asus RoG from 2015 still serves me well for my gaming needs. Customer 'support' is a sad joke. Please save yourselves a lot of nerves and money and just stay away.

I've been a subscriber to your channel for several years. I think the decline in views (which isn't unique to your channel) is mainly due to two factors:
a) Featuring laptops with Intel i9, Ryzen 9, or RTX 4090, 5080, and 5090 GPUs in the review thumbnails.
b) The price tags associated with those machines.
In my experience, when it comes to laptops costing €4,000 or more, the people who can comfortably afford them don't watch reviews. They either walk into a store and say, "Hi, I'd like to buy a top-of-the-line laptop for the next couple of years," or they simply have an employee or assistant buy one for them. They just don't spend much time researching. Again, I'm talking specifically about this price bracket.
Five years ago, comparing flagship laptops made perfect sense. Nowadays… not so much.
with 100 C for the CPU you will not play more that 20 min and you will sure stop playing with such heat under your hands, stupid technology for sure.
whenever I see someone let their cpu temperature to have 95ish degrees celsius, I know you have absolutely no idea what you are doing, right? and you are "review"- ing laptops…bruh
I can run games 1%low 150-180 ish fps and most of the games I play with 250-400fps avg and max(all fps values diplayed) with turbo disabled in bios, never letting cpu temps go beyond 65 degrees celsius…

Do you even understand, what fps is ?! I highly doubt
what actually matters is 1%low fps and 0.1% low fps + comparing those to current and average. if 1%low is far from avg, then it stutters and it might cause motion sickness(mostly if it falls below 90 fps and stutters). therefore your fps values there mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. and your measurement is completely faulty.
Only bad thing about this laptop is the windows🥀🥀🥀🥀

By holding it up and moving it back and forth like that, you revealed something that makes this laptop a BIG NO NO, which is the fact that its screen is highly reflective
