It's a shame the Hackintosh era is long gone. This would have been a PERFECT PLATFORM for that!
So.. when taking cheapest config into account:
-Less ram than a M5 Air
-Slower ram than a M5 Air
-Worse SSD than a M5 Air
-CPU does not stack up to M5
-Real world battery life not as good
-Arguably better build quality overall on the Air
-Air comes with a charger (cmon really FW?)
-FW13 Pro comes with 2 more ports (all 4 can be swapped)
-Arguably better screen + Touch.
FW13 Pro in it's lowest config = nearly $1700 US
MBA M5 = $1300
Macbook for most cases is a better choice for a mobile professional computer.
FW yet again is cool on paper until you look at the price.
I think I’m still on the MacBook side of things. However, if I’m not getting a Mac, I’m getting this. I love that this company exists.
Is this the new laptop that corporate shills use? Why not instead of a laptop made by Framework, you get a laptop made by Linux?

Price makes it a non-starter for me. My current laptop is from 2020 and I'm going to need it to last another year at least.
I saw a review of this elsewhere and overall it was very good but it seems the speakers and video cam are not too good. Assume these can’t be swapped over so perhaps improve these on next iteration?
